  1. We’re a top team. That was just brilliant! Happy days. I just so wish that the stadium had been full.
  2. I think I would have looked decent against Sheffield United today, they were the worst team I’ve seen us play since Southampton away last season.
  3. This is a point gained given the circumstances. We honestly just need to get through this awful week and give the players a nice few days off next week when there’s no midweek break. And by then Maddison will be back out on the grass, possibly on the bench, probably not. And Perez will be available, and it’ll be a week closer to the return of Dennis Praet. Having said that, we were crap again tonight, if we don’t improve on Saturday Brighton will be beat us, especially given that they’ve had a week off.
  4. Except he’s not a holding midfielder so he isn’t behind N’didi, Mendy or Hamza. He was only behind Tilemans and Praet.
  5. Why we sent KDH out on loan I will never know. Even with a fully fit squad we still only had two fit CAMs and one fit number 8. The rest are all CDMs. We were always going to be short in the middle of the park. There have been so many games this season where Youri could have come off after 55/60 minutes and we were comfortably winning but we haven’t had a replacement.
  6. Kasper Amartey Syoncu Fuchs Castagne. Thomas N’didi. Tilemans Under Albrighton Vardy Subs: Ward, Ricardo, Daley-Campbell, Evans (if fit enough), Mendy, Hamza, Ihenacho i think we have to play to our strengths and right now, despite the injury to JJ we still have several very good/class full backs so we need to keep them fit, hence rotating Ricardo. In this set up under and albrighton act more as wide attacking players than wingers, with genuine wing backs behind them. We also have two CBs who have spent most of their careers at full back. My biggest concern with this team is that it’s another game for our midfield 2 who are surely going to burn out soon.
  7. We are well and truly ****ed.
  8. A thread like this only works if we bounce back on Sunday. But if we don’t then it could be last season all over again, that’s why people are in a full scale meltdown. I’m not, but I do get it.
  9. Genuinely think that might be the worst performance I have ever seen, even worse than Villa away in the semi final. I don’t know why I’m on here tonight, it’s not improving my mood! So frustrated
  10. I think she’s quite fit.
  11. Yeah JJ for me. He’s gone from an average League 1 full back to a top class full back in less than a season (taking in to account how many games he has actually played). He is definitely undroppable now!
  12. Kasper Ricardo Evans Syoncu JJ Mendy Tilemans Under Maddison Barnes Perez/Ihenacho This is what I’d go for. I don’t really care who starts up top, I think they’re both pretty average and not much of a goal threat. They both like to drop in deep so speed on the flanks is essential hence why I would drop Albrighton. Having said that, Albrighton has been great. IF we get 2/3 goals ahead Tilemans needs a rest - he must be shattered.
  13. Well I stand corrected. However, my point on sky filling a quoter remains. They have ruined Jeff Steffling’s Soccer Saturday by removing the hilarious group who were on that show, with a young and modern group who have an inch of the chemistry and banter we saw with their predecessors. And both Sky & Bt have been guilty of putting pundits on the show who either know nothing or can’t actually express what it is that they do know in a concise way.
  14. 😍😍😍😍😍
  15. Sky are just putting random women on the show to fill a quoter. The lady on there is an ex rugby player for god sake!
  16. He’s a winger?
  17. On thing a lot of people on FT are forgetting about is the Brendan affect. This kid is young and has the physical attributes to become a top footballer. He just needs an elite manager who can add the technical parts to his game and he will improve sevenfold. Name me a player in our squad who hasn’t improved under BR? I can only think of 2.
  18. Quite frankly the rule around recalling players is such a load of rubbish. He’s our player and we should be able to recall him whenever we like. Having said that, if we can’t then I would like to see Tavares get some game time. He’s been linked with Barca so would be good to give him some game time so he starts to feel like he could make it here.
  19. BT Sports coverage tonight was horrendously bad. They’ve got two scousers in the studio, one of them bums Everton for obvious reason, and the other couldn’t string a sentence together. And as for the commentator, he couldn’t even pronounce the names of the players. But anyway, we deserved more than a point tonight but we’ll have to take it and move on. Let’s just hope and pray that wilf is ok.
  20. We should have sold him when Bournemouth offered £30m for him!!
  21. Why don’t you google what ‘one of’ means? You obviously don’t understand the term. I didn’t say he was the biggest waste of money. I said he was ONE OF the biggest. Therefore meaning he was and is in amongst that list of flops you have mentioned. And when I refer to him being a waste of money, I don’t just mean the £3m signing fee. I mean his salary too which will no doubt been more than 3m over the last 5 years he’s been contracted to us.
  22. And in 5 years he’s scored 13 goals. Not 30, 13. Barnes as 10 this season alone. Gray is an average footballer. I’m very happy to see him off the wage bill quite frankly. Onwards and upwards.
  23. I suspect the list of never ending clubs ‘racing for his signature’ is nothing more than agent gossip to increase his wage at the one or two clubs who are actually interested. Gray is one of the biggest wastes of money ever - thankfully he wasn’t an expensive flop. There is no way he is ready to move to a club playing Champions League or even Europa League football. In fact, I would suggest that he’s closer to the Championship than the Champions League.
  24. They’re my club, I say we. If you don’t refer to Leicester as we then that’s fine. Perhaps I’m more passionate than you. I still disagree so let’s just leave it at that.
  25. We’re not a charity. I think his time is up as a player. He should be paid handsomely as a coach though! I’m sure he’s pretty financially comfortable.
