I remember that guy making the cross for final goal getting moaned about as well. From what I recall, Top wanted a fancy manager, then luckily Mandaric still had some influence and convinced them to go back to Pearson.
-
Hes a much better manager than the useless one we had last year, the main issue is same as the mens team really, its above the manager, I expect the weakest squad in the WSL.

Interim Managing Director Appointed
Chrysalis replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah its someone within his own contacts, rather than looking for someone on football club merit. -
To me its one of two things, either a genuine promotion, and still a position of power on day to day activities. This could also potentially mean technical director will be kind of like a puppet. Or it could be in reverse Rudkin is effectively moved out of day to day stuff, keeps employment for dignity, and the new technical director takes over his old activities.

'I Want People To Be Closer' - Khun Top Speaks
Chrysalis replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
So it ended up being a in house scripterview. Still its better than nothing, I still think I am of the sell up crowd, he will need a period of sustained corrective action to change my mind. -
Patient for what, will Rudkin suddenly start doing things differently and become more capable, Will Top suddenly start making rise decisions out of nowhere? I fully agree with the point, that there was nothing on 9 home games with no goals scored shows how passive the attending fans have become, no passion.

The January Transfer Window …..Dos the major surgery start?
Chrysalis replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nothing will happen for most of the window as usual, then some panic signings last day, maybe we loan out one or two players. -
Just in time for transfer window as has been previously.
-
Need to keep doing it every game now, its rattled them.
-
The statement pretty much confirms chants need to continue, the way to get them out is to make them feel uncomfortable.
-
The obvious question now would be why has the club not been communicating with fans, but then when a director was targeted by chants he felt it important to communicate, what is your priority, your circle of staff or the wider club, the community and its fans.
-
So my take is, no communication, except when the fans start to chant against them, then they decide they want to make a statement.
-
Would accept Farke for sure, but I feel it would be wasted under Top.
-
Nope owner/DoF out first, then manager after.
-
We still look much improved over last season, and Kirk has been the only women's manager to get reasonable backing.
-
Some of us did warn about not having a recognised capable striker in the squad in the summer, these failures are at director level.
-
He did actually struggle without Ndidi and KDH in particular.
-
Close thread? The owner and DoF are the issue.
-
Ipswich might, Saints have the same issue as us, owners obsessed with tippy tappy.
-
Yes but we will just sign expensive replacements under current ownership. Ayew, Winks, Begovic and the loan players are proof of that.
-
A big reason to not get promoted whilst right at the spending limit, they benefit from getting promoted with a championship budget, and also hungry squad.
-
I happen to agree the manager is under pressure to play certain players, I think if he was fired, the replacement would get the same instructions, focus on keep ball, and play specific players.
