Realistic Managerial Replacements
Chrysalis replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
The best guy available, we left it for Forest to grab. Cant think of anyone else now, its either has been's, or tippy tappy supposedly modern managers. Its assured one day Top will employ Rooney, I can see Russell getting a chance here as well. We need Top out, first and foremost. -
Yep, it looked so bad on both of Hull goals, Hamza briefly pressed, and then that was it, but cant be just one player, has to be done as a unit. I feel the lack of press is either a motivational problem, or a fitness problem.
-
Look at the actions taken by other fan groups at other clubs, we seem so passive, whats stopping any organised protests?
-
We seem to only get upset as fans when results are bad, relegated etc. Then we blame the manager instead of the owner and DoF. All misdirected and too focused on results rather than the deeper issues within the club.
-
Apparently Ipswich got rid of most of their promotion team already, so perhaps for them not surprising, they got rid of all the hunger and hard working players. Left with higher paid merc's like we and saints have.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

So its down to the cartel even though they a minority. A proper cap is no good because then they cant spend to compete against European giants, No cap is no good because then its unfair to them to have to compete fairly with clubs outside of the cartel. Have I got that right? Starting to understand Man City's approach, if a big concrete wall is put in the way, the solution is a bulldozer. -
We not even competing for the same thing, we in a false position due to a very kind starting fixture list. Top half would be an achievement.
-
League is fine, I feel all these sort of comments are fanboys of pep ball. I see lots of aggression and fast counter move in the division. Hulls play for their goals against us was good as well.
-
Needs a mass clear out and replace with hungry lower paid players that are sourced from lower leagues or youth setup.
-
Should have been Dyche or another pragmatic manager, but this man child keeps going for the slow build up. However I dont think its time to be calling for his head yet, we have to live with the decision and give him proper time. Club needs a reset anyway, few years in this division, and a new owner will do us a world of good in grounding people.
-
Look how kind our starting fixtures were, we in a false position.
-
Didnt watch this game, but hull bossed us for their goals, players looks like they winding down contracts. No aggression, no sprinting, no fight. Just a bunch of overpaid players groomed to play tippy tappy pretty football.
-
Wonder if anyone left still thinks we as good as this cov team.
-
It was more than the second half, we switched off as soon as we scored. Just that they didnt have the belief to take advantage of it until the second half.
-
Is there a reason we cant stop giving out over lucrative contracts?
-
Looked great for the 5-10 mins I watched before the goal, we scored then switched off as if we thought the game was won, then couldnt turn it back on again after they equalised. The manager promised relentless attacking.
-
A better way to protect the club is stop spending so much on contracts.
-
Face palm, all this time, and instead of getting a reputable sponsor or just continuing with a clean shirt, we find out they just wanted to find a way to keep this shambles.

Pretty much this. There is only two reasonable forms of financial regulation. 1 - Spending allowed providing owner is covering any losses, so club not at risk. License of control of club can be revoked if signs of problems start (a bit like how a bank forced control of liverpool back when the owner started defaulting on the bank loan payments) such as non payment of tax or wages. When contracts signed, the entire cost of contract is paid into an account to fund it. 2 - Fixed salary cap, same for every club, not increased based on higher revenue. But can be reduced if club has debt. The problem with both of these is that it doesnt give the status quo their "historical" advantage they want. So instead we get the nonsense we have now. -

We spent too much on wages. Short 3-4 year contracts on signing players, then get massive contract buff after only 1-2 years here. -

More of the nonsensical based on revenue, ok for Arsenal, Pool and co to spend in the billions, but if someone from the midlands spends a fraction of that they breach the rules. -
PSR isnt stopping him, there is multiple ways round it, but it is providing him a good excuse. The stadium freeze isnt affected by PSR at all, yet its frozen. The womens team is being run on a pound shop budget. If we not promoted before parachute monies are gone, I think the Top worshippers are in for a shock. Although the issue isnt really that we not spending large sums on players, but rather all the pay day loans for small sums because he cant plug cashflow issues, the majority I think want our squad spending to go down significantly, and the stadium situation.
-
We woke up after we scored, why it took them until them to start dribbling and be aggressive I dont know.
-
I cant, just you need to get over that we are in a discussion forum, not writing essays. If you think my posts are bad now I can stop editing them, then it will be another level. Also its now on a mod to fix that sorry, as edit has timed out for me.
