Wordle 1,208 X/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 ⬜🟩⬜⬜🟩 Seems to have flummoxed all of us.
-
If anyone remembers Moosebreath aka Caveman, I'd invite him just to biff him on the chin and kick him whilst he's down
-
And Rooney looks like he's married to Priti Patel.
-
Not TONNES though is it.
-
Nottingham, Yes, as the nearest city to the airport so that travellers can locate it. EMA is still the destination airport code East Midlands Airport Code, EMA, UK (world-airport-codes.com)
-
If we were to have such a thing, who would you invite and why? Assuming the commonality will be our support for the club. None of my suggestions are meant to be patronising. Just based on the impression I get from their presence and posts on here. For me I'd invite, in no particular order or preference, and I must admit the list is pretty endless. We'd need to hire the De Mont. @Trav Le Bleu insightful and amusing. @Izzy seems a bit like me, although I don't play golf. And to hear his shit jokes go down like @FoxesDeb genuine, honest and well informed. @tom2711 in case I need car in the future, gotta keep these types sweet. @Wymsey Just because he follows me. And comes across as someone genuinely concerned for others. @leicsmac Because the world needs people like him. @Suzie the Fox I need to keep up with her Wordle count. That's my initial 5 minutes of thinking. There could also be a humorous list of those you might be less inclined to meet up with.

That's a surprise as the flight codes for EMA are EMA are they not?
-
I have to say, I thought that was a point of contention a decade or so ago and it was agreed that it would remain EMA as it mainly served Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. I haven't seen any reference to "Nottingham" airport for years.
-
There'd be others in the dock with him.
-
Neither of them come out of this looking anything other than silly, bitchy, money grabbing, self obsessed, and immature.
-
And you know this, how? Personal contacts? Hearsay? A finger in the wind? Wild assumption? Facts?
-
I've put it in there for you.
-
9/16ths of us would disagree

Wordle 1,205 4/6 ⬜🟨🟨⬜🟨 ⬜⬜🟨🟨🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 One wrong guess away from 3

I'm not a biker, but that is impressive. I actually came on here to ask if anyone has been to the Triumph exhibition at their factory. I live 10 minutes away from it and have thought about going but, as some one who isn't really enthralled by bikes, would it be worth it?
-
I agree and I was thinking of a way to include this view in my post. Thanks for your help

Chris Sutton has an overinflated opinion of himself and is one of the most irritating "pundits" even surpassing Robbie "look at me" Savage. 606 was so much better before these two fools took over.
-
I agree. I grew up with the music my parents listened to which was mainly late 50's early 60's because that's all the radio station played but after pirate radio became accessible the whole music listening scene changed. No more James Last and "easy listening" or Cliff Richard on replay. I could lie in bed with my radio under my pillow listening to The Troggs, Manfred Mann, The Rolling Stones, and others that seemed so "hip" and cutting edge. In truth they probably weren't but it was all stuff my teen generation had been denied by the straitlaced BBC. I believe that pirate radio and it's coincidental rise with the "new" music changed music radio and was revolutionary.

And all we really got was a greater divide between the have's and the have nots, greed and selfishness and a faster descent into poverty for so many.

You must've known this would be coming at some point:

Do you have someone you can talk to, either a professional or a friend to confide in? Talking doesn't necessarily solve the issue but it certainly helps IME. I have even found pouring stuff out on here takes up time and helps me focus my mind and then I can actively divert away from the issues causing me anxiety and worry. I know those issues won't go away but for a while at least, I can turn my mind off even though I'm expressing and divulging what it is that is making me feel so down. Offloading, however you do it, is quite therapeutic. You will be welcomed and supported here. Even though you say it's hard to explain, it might be worth a shot. Best wishes.
