Things You Wish You'd Never Have To See Or Hear Again

You, or the bloke at the door. -
I'd go further and say that anyone apart from the ruling classes/business owners such as those as in mine and hosiery, were in relative poverty. If the breadwinner had no job, there was nothing to fall back on, other than charitable organisations and some sympathetic benefactors. Thank goodness we have moved on to our current societal situation. As bad as we might think it is.

There's only a limited number of spaces in Heaven according to them. You'd better get on board. God knows where you'll end up otherwise. -

Damn. That's ruined my planned Christmas present to you. -
Not one of them has a mobile phone. Jeez that must've been tough.

God Save the King, the National Anthem a proper dirge. -
I'm gonna put that in my latest topic, "Things You Wish You..."

It's amazing how these pilots manage the extreme weather and winds. I was gifted a flight simulator experience this year. I went along and enjoyed it. The "instructor" set up the landing to be during high winds and it was incredibly stressful trying to keep the landing straight with the plane at 30 degrees off the horizontal due to the wind. Full admiration to all those pilots worldwide that deal with these extremes.

On the back of that, Gavin Ward. -
Donald Trump Mariah Carey Any politician holding a baby. "I'm a celebrity, get me out of HEEEEEERRRRE". The dental nurse saying "next please". Plumber/electrician/builder/roofer. (generally all tradesmen), "mmm, well, that's not an easy job".

God Save The Queen.

Wasn't his stuff on DVD only?

Thankfully. I can't think of a more dislikeable "comedian". Even Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle pale by comparison.

We had similar last weekend but it was in an unintelligible Eastern European language followed by some out of tune trumpet blast. Not appreciated at 8:30 on a Sunday morning.

In my experience the problem is exacerbated by those that are housebound or with mobility issues, that don't make other arrangements to get the vaccine. We used to get inundated with elderly patients in particular, with flu that didn't think it necessary or couldn't be bothered to be vaccinated, or didn't know that a community nurse would jab them at home if they asked the GP surgery. Usually, by the time we got the 999, call it resulted in a hospital admission.

It's @Harboro He's new. Doesn't know the protocols: anything 3 or under get's the No-one wants to be accused of showing favouritism. Wordle 1,265 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨🟨⬜🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 That's a fail under the FT Wordle group and will rightly be ignored.

And that's an example of the opposite effect that sort of thing can manifest in different people. I consider myself fortunate to have been able, by and large, to manage my life reasonably well. I get angry and frustrated easily, but therapy has helped with managing that. I have had relationship problems and I do tend to turn to alcohol at times. Fortunately I have a very understanding (and forgiving) wife of 38 years and that is a huge benefit. Seems Wallace has that benefit, but who knows what his alter-ego is truly like?
