I just wonder if it was "white" people that did this in order to further stir up division and resentment. And we know where that leads.

After 14 years of the Tories. What did they do to put it right? Is the word "apparently" intended to suggest something else? Also, who has called him "Captain Hindsight", except you?

Music, like art and women is a subjective taste.

Thanks but I wasn't being specific, I just used her as an example of a poor return for your money.

Imagine paying that and then finding out that the headline finale is Shania Twain.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are pretty dull and uninspiring IMO.

Maybe it's an age thing. When I was younger (in my 30's/40's) I didn't mind the jostling, pushing and shoving in the standing areas nor the shuffling along to get out with a thousand other people. But now it's the access/egress that is so unpleasant. 2 hours or more queueing to get out of the parking areas is a real grind. If I could get dropped in and lifted out by helicopter I'd go to more.

Music taste is mostly subjective and my own tastes can vary depending on my state of mind but right now and for some years, my top 5 favourite albums are, in no particular order: Songbird, Eva Cassidy. Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Beatles. Bat Out of Hell, Meatloaf Rumours, Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits, David Bowie.

Like Skol, then? I know it's not really. I don't drink lager very often but when I do I usually go for this, just for me: If we have friends over I'll get Staropramen. As mentioned earlier, get the authentic Czech, not British brewed under licence. That's something I don't get, if they're using the same ingredients and brewing process as they do in the country of origin, why do British brewed lagers/beers, (and in fact, Guinness) taste like a poorer version?

Watch Merseyside Detectives | Stream free on Channel 4 On C4 over the last 4 days. Riveting, emotional, alarming, angering. If you didn't watch, it's worth catching up on.

Being a general terwat and absolutely dire as a football pundit/TV presenter? I imagine his agent dropped him as he is now un-marketable? In any event, it's a sad loss to broadcasting.

Agree. They drive almost entirely fixed on the car in front, not what else might be going on around/further ahead of them. When I was training for blue lights we had to do a commentary as we drove, explaining what we saw, what action we were taking in response, how we positioned the vehicle on the road, when we used the brakes, what gear was used, what we were planning to do when approaching hazards, what road signs/road markings there were. All spoken out loud to the examiner. It certainly focused the mind. I still do that from time to time just to keep it in my head.

Defensive driving style, anticipation, (not just in case something develops ahead of you, but also in your next planned manoeuvre, (turn, overtake, acceleration, slowing, etc)), awareness, looking as far ahead as is possible and patience, all key parts of good driving behaviour. My ambulance driving training used this: Roadcraft. Roadcraft. Roadcraft: The Police Driver's Handbook It completely changed my driving behaviour and techniques and I still apply now, what I learnt then. I urge drivers here to at least take a look.

You mean you didn't find a bath, some spare car tyres, a bike frame, a pedestal fan...

What if a yacht the size of this one was anchored fore and aft? It wouldn't be able to turn into the wind, surely.

My dad worked at Wadkin's as a toolmaker. Their woodworking machines were exported all over the world and regarded as among the best there was. -
