I regularly (on almost on every journey) come across taxi drivers that are completely inept. It's their job to drive. Competently. They fail in so many situations. Mostly they're driving a Toyota Prius. Wolverhampton council, so I've been told, have the lowest taxi licence fees and least rigorous checks on licenced vehicles which is why there's so many all over the Midlands.

Standard behaviour at that junction. It's almost blind on every approach and no one seems to know what should happen. Also it's a mini roundabout that Calor gas artic trucks have to negotiate.

I was very hands on.

I often drive in country roads and side lanes as a way of relaxing as I enjoy driving, and the number of fly tipping spots is definitely increasing. Things dumped include the obvious like washing machines, mattresses and bed bases, tyres, clothing, even a bath, sink and electric shower box and shower head. Not long ago someone of Eastern European origin scrap collector dumped a faecal macerator on our front garden because the realised the metal recycling company wouldn't accept it so they just chucked it. I saw it happen as I looked from our bedroom window but it was over and they were gone before I could challenge him/them.

We took our dog for a walk across fields between Desford and Botcheston earlier when it was still frosty with bright sunshine, and it was quite a lovely experience.

Friend of mine is a full on LCFC supporter and has a box. He's going with his family as they do every home game as they have for years. (It costs him a lot but he gets some kind of tax relief if he invites guests apparently, but that's besides the point). Sadly, they're happy clappers. I've tried to discuss our issues with him and mainly his response is "well KP (Vichai) paid for the best training ground in Europe/The World/UK" (or whatever the claim is). So we should be grateful. Rudkin signed some of the best players we've seen at our club and helped steer us to become the PL winners and the FA cup win. He doesn't appear to fully accept what is happening now. He does seem to be living in a cocoon of the past and I think that's true of many such as him. He does however agree that the players are overpaid, poor and uninspiring by comparison to our best years and that the general management of the club is below standard. That's about it. No anger, no sign of real frustration. Just, kind of, this is what it is for us right now.

Which highlights what a poor manager he is. I'm so disappointed in the last 3 managerial appointments. It really has gone completely tits up.

Shame we don't have that. I had mediocre hopes that he might achieve something with us but I was so wide of that mark.

If he does, that's not what comes across. And the decisions he seems to have made in appointing replacements on the board look quite like nepotism which would appear to fit his character profile.
