  1. They are about what I expected on the back of what i've been paying recently.
  2. As they’ve not announced any dates outside of the UK and Ireland as yet were also going to be up against anyone from the rest of the planet who has the funds and motivation to get over to see them. I saw something on TikTok earlier where they were discussing it on one of the US breakfast shows.
  3. Lads it’s way too early in the transfer window for this to be done/fall apart at the last minute due to some objection to the obscure design of our away kit. . We’ve got time to string out this drama for a little longer yet.
  4. In the not too distant past I might have considered it. I know of one person who's going and that's because her young son is city mad and has cajoled her into going. Tuesday after a bank holiday, none of us are bothered to go for something to eat or hang around in town after work, throw in the £25 for a season ticket card, £10 to watch pre-season friendlies and I feel hard pressed to spend a single penny down there beyond my season ticket.
  5. Hopefully!!
  6. I have a spare for RC. Got in on the presale and got one for a mate who I thought would be up for it. Him - ‘Is that Carter from USM?’ Me - ‘No the rattlesnakes’ Him - ‘I’m not bothered’ I was going to put it on Twickets. Face Value if you want it, just message me.
  7. I know it’s a bit close to the weekend but given the number of changes most teams make, they are missing an opportunity by not playing on a Bank Holiday afternoon.
  8. Jealous! Saw him three times this summer, he never lets you down.
  9. I need to get up to the Piece Hall it looks a fantastic venue.
  10. I was at Taylor Swift at Wembley last Saturday, a brilliant show, I just got tickets to Frank Carter and the Sex Pistols at Rock City for next month. It's how I roll..
  11. If you're on a Iphone go to the ticket in your wallet, click on the three little dots in the top right hand corner, select pass details and press down to refresh on the screen, that should update the ticket. No idea if this is similar on Android.
  12. I’m not getting on Steve Cooper’s back or calling for him to go. It’s going to take years for the club to regain anything like stability. Getting another manager in won’t change a thing. We simply do not have a squad capable of competing in the PL. We’re an absolute mess of a football club. We sold our best player to avoid another FFP penalty. We don’t have the funds or the stature to attract the kind of players we need. The still unresolved points deduction issue hangs over us. Looking at the knee jerk reaction on social media tonight I’m just not sure a lot of our fan base have woken up to where we’re at.
  13. I don’t know. I’m glad we’ve got someone in but at the same time obviously wasn’t going to get much game time at Brighton. No offence to Brighton as they are in a far far stronger position than us but it’s a player they didn’t think was worthy of a place in their squad.
  14. Leeds and Pompey hard to determine who I find the most abhorrent. Leeds and their freakishly deluded fan base or the bell (end) ringing EDL knuckle draggers from the South Coast.
  15. We’re probably looking to see if we can implement that before next week.
  16. I don’t think my expectations or excitement level could be any lower. I’m not going to get on Steve Cooper or the player’s backs. A lot of those who contributed to getting us in the state were in are long gone. I do wonder at what point this season it’s going to get to the point I just won’t want to make the effort to go down and see us get another thumping.
  17. Can we afford the panic button or are we looking to take one on loan ?
  18. I’m going to try and not get on the back of Steve Cooper or the team as it’s not really on them but I think you’re right. We’re going to be in a dogfight and no one has the heart for it. It’s going to be a long and painful season. My first target is to get past Derby’s record low points total.
  19. I went on Thursday as well. I didn’t know quite what to expect but it was quite good. A bit weird as I checked my phone at the interval to see Shakey had passed away. It drifted away from the football side of things to cover some social issues but I quite enjoyed it.
  20. I quite enjoyed the latest edition and I don’t have an issue with any of the views that were mentioned. There’s not much to be optimistic about. Two weeks out from the start of the season. We have a points deduction hanging over us, we’re trying to attract players who realistically are only going to come for the money because we’re not offering much else. We’re supposedly offering £25 million for an Argentine Under 21 wonder kid one week and the next week we’re looking at Jordan Ayew. The club has done it’s best to hack off the fans all summer with digital tickets, eye watering match day increases, bang average kits with dodgy sponsors, £10 to watch training games and finally after all of that they send out fan engagement emails. They are just taking the piss. I won’t be getting on Steve Cooper or the player’s backs this season, none of what I’m expecting to come our way can be put on them.
  21. No issue with Junior Doctors it’s just not a good look. I’ve never forgiven Gordon Brown for abolishing the 10% income tax rate in 2007 and adamantly stating that no one would be worse off, when everyone could work out the lowest paid would take the biggest hit. I turned my back on the Labour Party for over a decade after that. When it comes to the Labour Party punching down on the poorest in society I can easily turn my back on them again.
  22. I fear my Labour Party membership is living on borrowed time, there needs to be less punching down and more punching up. It hasn’t played well somehow finding 22% for Junior Doctors and dropping the fuel allowance for pensioners. I get there are wealthy pensioners who don’t need it. The push to get another million on pension credit is an absolute joke, the form filling, box ticking, evidence providing for someone only to go ‘computer says no’ because the signature was outside of the box is not going to get some 80 plus year olds on board.
  23. Play 'em all! Attack, Attack, Attack!!
  24. I keep telling myself I’m going to swap out of the tech fund I have in my SIPP, it has done incredibly well but just seems to have levelled out lately it edges up and falls back again. I’ve got a frozen DB scheme which I’m probably going to use in place of taking an annuity. Two DB pensions, one closed one active, which are in the default funds and now I’m 55 they are starting move into more stable investments. The SIPP was always something I used for more diverse or slightly riskier investments but I’m starting to consider how to invest that as well.
