The equaliser has just flattened us.

I’ve calmed down a little but I’m still hacked off about everything, the club, the manager, the team, the whole place but…… When King Power, Whelan, Enzo, Rudkin and the rest of them are long gone we’ll still be there and so will the club (fingers crossed!) So next Saturday even if he puts out the same side with Daka on his own up front playing Plan A yet again we have to put all negativity aside, get behind them and try and somehow drag them across the line. Personally I doubt it will make much difference but we’ve got to try.

Just look at this forum. You stay behind to applaud the team off - you get slaughtered on here. You stay behind and boo the team off - you get slaughtered on here. You can’t be assed to watch them play keep ball for the last ten minutes and not stay behind to applaud them off/get behind the lads - you get slaughtered on here. We are what we are and we have made ourselves that way.

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll

He has to go but he won’t, well not just yet. Tonight I’ve accepted we’re in the championship for the foreseeable future. We have raised the white flag and surrendered this season. West Brom and Southampton will confirm it but automatic promotion is gone and there’s no way this clown will get us through two play off games and a Wembley final. -
Might be a few available on the resale after all.

We’ve gone. Mavididi just put that in to absolutely no one.
-
Hook him now FFS!

It’s like we’re just going through the motions or playing a training match. We go forward get into a good area and there’s no movement in the box or the cross is chipped in or just softly put into the box.
-
We need to be level before half time because we’re liable to come out for the second half not switched on and concede a second.

Sometimes things just don’t go your way.

Is this the most stressful season as a Leicester fan ?

Not even close to 2015/16. We lost last night, a bit hacked off with them but I went to bed and slept fine. 8 years ago I would be awake at 3am thinking how unbearable it would be for us to get so close only to lose out to Spurs on goal difference. -
It feels very strange to be sitting top of the table and feeling so frustrated with a manager, but i'm going to find this very therapeutic. I never went totally overboard on him. it was wait and see for me He was fresh and ambitious but with absolutely no experience at this level and had been in a position coaching players in a totally different realm of the universe to anything we have. I've not enjoyed the style of football, It's been attritional and we rode our luck at times. I've looked back over the results this season and despite the good result here and there (against 10 men at Southampton, late goals at Blackburn) I'm struggling to say I actually enjoyed the game. The result yes, but not the performance. We were winning and I was accepting that. There have been flashes of promise but it was immediately put back in the box, Plymouth at home being the prime example three quick goals and then nothing. Too often we got one or two goals up and then we just sit back for the next 30 minutes and do absolutely nothing by way of seeking to actually score another goal and run up a comprehensive score. I had no issue with people walking out early 10 minutes early as so often the team had no intention of doing anything and there was little point in being there other than to show your appreciation for the lads . It's looking like every player has regressed somewhat under him this season, Fatawa, Mavididi and Yunus look a imitation of the player's they were at the start of the season. I hope we stumble over the line, for the clubs finances alone, but the cracks that have been papered over all season are now beginning to show.

Sometimes I think we’re risking it all for the extra revenue of the playoffs.

Ipswich 28/1 to win this on Bet365, just had a couple of quid. It would help soften the blow!

I think the transfer section is going to be strictly limited to discussing outgoing players for some time.

I have friends who are Tiger's season ticket holders who also have season tickets at Old Trafford, football fans first they used to live up there and eventually settled down here and started to go to the Tigers. Not a problem for me. I bought a shirt for the first time in decades last year and look how that turned out. Won't be doing that again anytime soon. It's not the cost for me but I just don't really like the polyester feel of the shirt, I have a season ticket at the tigers and don't by their shirts either. They do however bring out a nice heavy cotton long/short sleeved version of the home and away kits every year which I usually get. The adidas range is quite nice but it's very generic and a little pricey considering. The LCFC stuff is just a little bland. I do see the odd thing I like, they have a nice New Era bobble hat in the black and blue sash away colour's but it's £35....for a hat!

As soon as that ball went out wide we all knew it was coming didn’t we.

30 minutes of turgid lifeless football where we conceded another soft goal and somehow managed to get level. 30 minutes of high intensity quality football which got us into the lead. 30 minutes of taking our foot off the gas ‘not again Leicester FFS’ football before the GOAT finally put it to bed. Fantastic and frustrating to watch in equal measure but we got the win. An improvement of recent week’s.
-
I’m really hoping we turn up and put in a decent performance and get the win. If they want us to get behind them we’re going to have to see them step it up and show something different. It’s wasted energy if they are just going out there to repeat recent performances. I just get a feeling it could turn really ugly tomorrow if things don’t go our way.
-
Just listened and absolutely spot on this week. I don’t think I could disagree with a single word.

An awful lot of us haven’t really embraced the style of play all season, but we were winning so we put up with it and people telling us we’re dinosaurs, this is the modern game and the way forward, get used to it grandad. I wouldn’t say the wheels have come off but the bus is broken down in a lay-by, the driver refuses to call breakdown to get the parts replaced and just keeps trying to turn the engine over with the same results. He’s now asking the same people who grumbled about his driving and he had a dig at because they got off the bus early a couple of times to give the bus a push start. Let’s just say our enthusiasm is a little muted. The same people know if we do get the bus started there’s little chance his driving style will change and there’s a good chance the bus may breakdown again soon. Oh and to anyone who thinks us oldies want ‘Gerrit forward’ ‘Route one’ football, we don’t. There’s nothing wrong with the style of play but it needs an injection of intensity and urgency at times. There’s nothing in our recent performances to make me think we’re capable of switching it up after playing at the same pace all season. Oh and to anyone saying ‘he’ll be gone next year’ as some kind of threat, one way or another I believe he will. He’s getting us promoted and will probably walk away to better things from this feck up of a club, or he will be gone as the man who blew a 17 point lead.

I’ve stopped caring.

Well that was coming

How did no one go with Sterling there?

Vesty needed to make sure he got in front of Jackson, didn’t happen and there you go.
