That hotel weren't worth £3.50 either, still have flash backs

I mean you've jumped at a conclusion there Christ. I merely stated he shouldn't be played as the defensive option, no point is that writing him off is it!
-
Think I've finally worked him out today. He's just so ploddy off the ball and as much as he works it just means he can't impose himself on a game like Wilf or Hamza can from workrate alone. If he's not up with play he doesn't have the mobility to get involved with it really, he can't be played and relied upon as the "defensive" option in a midfield 2 as I'd argue that's his least effective job.
-
Don't get the subs today. I think the critism of taking Hamza off is wrong placed, he was never gonna be able to last 90 mins at the pace he ran about at after no real game time. It was more the fact he doesn't decide to try and stamp a grip on the game and kept us at 442 when 2 up. I'd say the more baffling move is looking at the bench at 2-1 up and going hmmm yes James Maddison now that's the man I want to bring on to see out a game out against a physical side.
-
He's needs to remember he has 2 legs and can run at people, looks like a rabbit in the headlights when he gets the ball and doesn't have a 50ft radius of space
-
Surely he's either slept with Brendans daughter or murdered the family pet considering Perez gets more chances then him.
-
For years we've complained about being too weak and often being bullied by shithouse sides, wouldn't say this is reactionary considering its been a huge weakness of ours for ages now

Norwich v Leicester Pre Match Thread 28/08(3.00)

Daka has to start, offered more movement in 30 mins then the rest of the front 4 combined did. -
Sums it up well, set pieces always worry me. But that midfield battle against Rice & Soucek should be one Wilf & Youri can win with their eyes closed. The threat of Barnes might hopefully keep Coufal at bay going forward too as they can't afford to be leaving him and Vardy free to burst through.

Doesn't surprise me about cov, abhorrent team. Brings me great joy to watch them fail, genuinely one club I wouldn't be sad to see go bust.
-
How can you possibly **** up pink and black, one of the worst cock ups I've seen us do since Beckford didn't try and head the ball at Peterborough
-
Impressive on the ball, the classic need for modern high level centre backs. Its good to see us be able to bring through some quality looking younger players as there was a bit of a barron spell, so it shows the money invested must be working in areas.
-
More often then not he struggled with the physicality of the defenders. But that's not a surprise as shithouse Championship big bastards are very different beast to Austrian Bundesliga defenders. His pace and momentum is what will carry him past those big lumbering CBs something that will develop over the year.
-
Definately will be transition year, watching him yesterday his movement was brilliant but he will need a year to adapt as he does seem a bit lightweight. Similar to vardy when we signed him really.
-
Was impressed yesterday, his passing range was better than I expected. Looks tailor made for the prem with his physicality too, really exciting signing.
-
At no point have I said people can't have an opinion, you've decided that's what I was doing. I made a very obviously tongue in cheek comment laced heavily with my opinion and that was that.

I'm not lapping anything up, merely understanding that the club have done years of research into things like this in order to make the appropriate decision that doesn't put us in a bad position in future. To claim that agreeing with what is released by the club is just blue tinted specs is just as tedious as what you're claiming. Because I'm not critising them then I must be up their arse apparently it seems. Let's be honest we are having some success but all it takes is a few defeats and suddenly we are playing back with less fans coming and you make the ground too big we will have plenty of empty seats, plus saddled with a big bill to pay it all off but no extra income to cover it, which would not be a smart move would it.
-
We could announce we had found a cure for covid, cancer and how to clone Youri and some fans would find something to complain about All good stuff and more business savvy moves with the hotel and arena etc, in short we are just massive.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Just strikes me as people so desperate for it to fail that they're picking holes in the smallest things. That's not aimed at comments on here necessarily but Twitter is rife with stuff like that. I'd say the actual game of cricket itself isnt much different to the viewing experience of a normal T20 is it, yet people are moaning about it like they've wheeled out Adolf Hitler and Jimmy Saville as the opening batsman. -
I reckon the idea is to have these options for shape and personnel to pick what suits best for each specific game, which could be argued as a reason we failed to get top 4 past few years by having square pegs in round holes because we had no ability to switch it all up.

This really isn't as bad as people are making out. Is it needed, no. Is it pointless, yes. Does it create more problems that it didn't need to, yes. But it's basically just a game of cricket with garish graphics, a stupid pointless change to overs and modernised extra crap to appear shiney. -
Considering how we start may aswell have all the cannon fodder early on in the season to make use of our quick starts and we actually might be able to break down those parking the bus for once
-
Great minds and all that

Didn't realise Sabitzer was going for so cheap til they mentioned it yesterday. Could do a lot worse then 15m on him.
