  1. The thing I can't understand is why have Mclaren given Lando a tyre advantage over Piastri when they were both pitting 1 lap after eachother and the plan was to go to the end? Conspiracy hat firmly on at the moment.
  2. Lewis is flying and for the first time in about a decade Ferrari have made a good strategy call.
  3. This car design renders them pointless, too much downforce to use them, by the time you need wets the cars are creating too much spray to race safely. Looks like in next seasons regs they have banned a lot of the underfloor channels that create a lot of this spray
  4. In fairness it’s easy for us as viewers to put the drivers lives at risk from our armchairs. Lando says visibility is bad behind the safety car, further back the onboards you can’t see anything it’s just a grey wall of water ahead of drivers, can’t even see the rear lights. I’m all for delaying the race in these conditions, these high downforce cars produce far more spray than any cars since the 80s. I’d much prefer seeing the cars out on track on full wets clearing the track though. seems pointless delaying the race and then having another spell of rain in 10 minutes and delaying again. But as a general principle I think given the current car designs delaying the race is sensible. Racing in these conditions is pretty much guaranteed a big smash or someone going off.
  5. Fair enough I was misunderstood! Monga has a long way to go and I feel like as a fanbase we should be doing our bit to shield him from unnecessary pressure, lots of fans are going full send on hyping him to the moon, I can completely understand why but with a young professional footballer you never quite know how they will adapt to this new found stardom so hopefully we can keep his feet on the ground and allow him to flourish!
  6. Right but there are absolutely loads of players who made their top flight debuts early and were hyped up to be future world class talents. Delfonso, Morrison, Kapustka was deemed a wonderkid after Euro 2016 and was seen as a massive coup for us and he was being approached by top top clubs. So many players got needlessly hyped by the media and created ridiculous pressure on these talents and it can go in so many different ways if the player doesn’t know how to cope with it or struggles to keep their feet on the ground. Leicester fans have a right to be excited by these players but it’s getting ridiculous the comparisons being made and talking about Ballon D’ors that I’ve seen within the fanbase.
  7. I hope you're right, my thinking with not including bilal is that given we might struggle to get rid of all of our 4 midfielders, Bilal will likely end up being a PSR sale. But I hope we can somehow shift Winks/Skipp/Soumare and keep him.
  8. It seems to me the general consensus of other fans is that we are cheaters and deserve a 25 point deduction for cheating so much which is massively unfair. I don't believe we cheated (cheating implies intent), we have ample evidence that the board have been decimating the club trying to comply with PSR since some time in 2021 when Rodgers started to be vocal about not being backed how he thinks he should have. If we were cheating, we'd have just carried on spending regardless, but we firmly put the brakes on and only bought in January 22 when we were in trouble and were desperate to try to save ourselves. We then got relegated, sold 100m of players, and the big mistake we made was spending 35m+ in the championship, but It's impossible to know if we were actively ignoring PSR or whether we were trying to balance on a tightrope between buying players to compete whilst selling players, and then the sales fell through, I'd suggest probably the latter. I don't think Leicester "cheated" and I don't think there is much evidence to prove that, I think we are just ****ing incompetent from top to bottom.
  9. Can see what we are trying to achieve but as of yet it hasn't really clicked, we look quite gutless upfront and open at the back, even with Daka and Ayew being a weak link in the striker position, we aren't really able to get the ball properly into them in many cases and seem to be relying on magic from Monga or later on Fatawu, they get doubled up on and we don't really have any options. Long way to go and pre season is always difficult to judge, on an individual basis the majority of players have had good spells and overall many good performances but as a team it's just not come together yet. Hopefully we can click soon as taking advantage of the relatively kind first month of fixtures is absolutely crucial. Winks and Skipp in midfield is a disaster. Sadly I can't see us being able to get rid of either, and we may end up not getting a bid for Ndidi or Soumare. If we can't shift anyone I'm really not sure what the best midfield combination 3 would be. Ideally you'd want Monga playing centrally infront of the other 2, but Soumare and Winks would leave massive exposure to the defence.
  10. LET'S GO BOYS THE MARTI PARTY IS UNDERWAY
  11. Serious serious talent, but as a fanbase lets not pressure the lad too much, he's obviously got the tools to become a really great player and his upside potential is big, but I'm seeing fans everywhere talking about how he's going to be our first 100m player, he's going to be worth £80m, going to be one of the best in the world, let's just relax a bit and not pressure him like that. We've seen this time and time and time again with young talents that burst onto the scene and end up nowhere. Plenty of players have been pressured by the media and by fans to the point it destroys their confidence having to live up to ridiculous standards, or even worse the players start to believe the hype themselves and develop an ego, i'm not suggesting that is the case with Monga, but lets not risk it, he's 16 and could have a big future ahead of him, let him go under the radar and improve without throwing hundreds of millions in fees around. The same goes for the other young players, we all want them to grow and build a legacy with us, but we need to be realistic over the number of minutes they should get this season and not pressure them all as being the saviours of the club.
  12. IF Bilal want's to go, sell. Take the £25m, let Monga, Alves and even Mcateer fill in that spot. Bilal has a high ceiling but I think he's been slightly overrated by a lot of fans. £25m is fair for his performances last season and the relegation situation we are in. Would love him to stay, but if he goes that will give Monga more game time, and would free up a few million to pick up Josh Windass and cover his wages.
  13. Yep, we need to jump in if we can. Like Jakub a lot but Pierce Charles is being touted as a keeper going to the very top. Could be a cheap signing with mega sell on potential.
  14. Would be a great signing imo. He's a steady player and very versatile on the ball. Him and Charles would be fantastic.
  15. Not sure where this is from originally but Wednesday mate told me that Bannan was very vocal at the team meeting towards Rohl, if he’s lost Bannan it really is irretrievable.
  16. I really like the look of Jakub but not sold on his ability with the ball at his feet, if he’s available, Pierce Charles will be an absolutely top top drawer keeper and would likely be cheap given Wednesdays situation. Josh Windass would likely not be up to prem level but he’s comfortably championship quality and under the right system could still progress, can play a false 9 really well but also can score goals.
  17. Rumours that Rohl held a "clear the air" meeting with players and it was frosty and didn't go down too well, now hearing he's gone and waiting for official club statement.
  18. I think…. It’s time 😢 It was a nice dream while it lasted
  19. Barely any of the footer links work, Support doesn't link to anything, the example links are broken. Curacao is pretty much the global hub for illegal casinos and money laundering.
  20. ****ing hell, thanks again Nigel
  21. Maybe we could organise some sort of Owner/Manager type role for Marti??
  22. We don't need him unless we plan on selling Thomas/Kristiansen or JJ At left back I'd rather just stick with Thomas and JJ, at Right Back have Woyo and Aluko. Ricardo pushed into midfield. If we sold Thomas and Kristiansen then sure, bring Lowe in.
  23. Great result for Chelsea and played really well on the day, but what happened to PSG? Stuck in 1st gear. Fluminense gave Chelsea a better game. I still have a gut feeling they will be 4th in the league though, a mixture of Enzo's stubbornness that Chelsea fans referenced all season costing them results, and the fact he doesn't seem to be standing up to the board signing another 300 players, either because he wants the players or he just doesn't feel like he has the power to say no. I think this will cost them massively in the long run. I said when he left Chelsea is probably the ideal club for Enzo because he needs big investment to make his system work, but Chelsea's investment still seems to be scattergun rather than targeted, I think there are going to be a LOT of unhappy players at that club this season, maybe we can take advantage of that and offer some of their young stars guaranteed exposure and play time.
  24. Do you think they even know we don't have one? My bet is they forgot they sacked Ruud
  25. If this falls short somehow I think we are going to panic. I can only hope they panic and give Hassenhuttl whatever he would want, I dread to think what Dyche or Wilder would do with the crop of youth talent we have coming through, probably 1 of them would be managed well and the rest end up leaving.
