  1. If I've missed something I apologise, afaik the 10 seconds was for the collision with Leclerc and 1st collision with george, the 2nd collision with george where he rammed him is being investigated post race. I expect he will be disqualified.
  2. Lawson + Alonso with their signature moves
  3. Is JR Moonlighting at Ferrari?
  4. Ferrari dithering again. I said 3-4 laps ago they need to swap positions and let Lewis take the tow from a faster Charles. Why am I able to see this obvious strategy call 4 laps before Ferrari? 6s gap to make up now instead of 2.5s.
  5. Stroll has withdrawn from the race because of pain in his hand that he had surgery on in 2023, presumably it’s flared up post qualifying. As far as I’m aware since stroll competed in qualifying and no reserve driver has taken part in any of the free practice sessions, Aston Martin are unable to enter a second driver into the race. Could be wrong on that though.
  6. Huge fan of Salz over the last few years, there’s a couple of players I’d love to snatch from them too, Oscar Gloukh will 100% move to the Bundesliga in the next season or so, could be worth snapping up if we have to sell the likes of Bilal although I’m not sure the prices would be wildly different so maybe would t be appropriate right now. Love the Red Bull system, love their network. I still maintain that given Rangnick is reportedly only on 30k a week in his capacity as Austria coach, I would LOVE to see us put in an ambitious bid for him to become DOF. Rangnick guiding Cinel could be a gamble that sets us up for the future.
  7. Statistically across the majority of metrics it was a very poor season for him, but that’s in a squad which generally just lacked any sort of quality. His first handful of games were electric and he massively tailed off making many big mistakes on the way, I think he probably needs more loan time at a club that is going forwards and not backwards to get the best out of him, I’m not sure he will get much first team minutes in that Brighton side next season just yet. Hell of a player in there though.
  8. Yeah we can’t let him know he’s jumping out of the frying pan just yet 🤣
  9. Hopefully he’s putting a good word in to DR and he comes with him
  10. Wednesday are in my opinion bang on for an embargo now. I don’t even want Rohl because of his management skills, it feels more like a humanitarian mission.. Operation rescue Danny
  11. So they should be putting in a bid in summer then? Would be cheap and it’s a massive PSR hand for us. If he’s been that good they will surely be putting an offer in.
  12. Reportedly on 50k a week, one of the highest earners in the division and the highest earner at Sheffield United. Can he do a job? Yes. Can his job be done by a whole host of players earning 10k a week at this level? Yes. We've got to start bringing these wages down or offloading players on these wages.
  13. Looked a bit more into him looks to have done a really solid job with them! definitely worth contacting him!
  14. Honestly it wasn't actually about DR directly, he's part of that conversation but it was more aimed towards our reluctance to go for managers in jobs in the past also such as Corberan last season because of the £4m buyout, and the fact we are now likely to go for the cheaper option again with Martin/Dyche etc, there are a fair few managers i'd go for who would cost us compared to RM Just can't get my head around the idea that a manager for a few million is "expensive" but a bang average championship player for £5-10m is somehow normal.
  15. One thing I cannot understand is the reluctance of clubs to buy managers out of their contract and the general idea that somehow £5-10m for a manager is expensive? I remember loads of chat around the time Liverpool signed Slot, with people talking about how expensive the £10m they paid for him was, £10m... for SLOT.... He's completely rejuvenated the club, he's worth £100m to that club in terms of the impact he's had. For me, a good manager is worth more than a single player in most circumstances. Look at how much Skipp cost us, then compare him to the value Ranieri, Rodgers(in the first 18-24 months), Pearson and Puel brought to the club. All of them are worth more than Skipp, but you'd never pay £25m for them if they were at another club. If the club are reluctant to sign a manager from another club because they are going to cost us 2.5m or 5m or whatever the fee is, but they are likely preparing to spend more than that on multiple players for the squad, we have become lost somewhere along the line. Managers are absolutely integral to football clubs, in most circumstances, individual players are not.
  16. Would take him 100%
  17. Danny Rohl (and multiple other managers we could go for) would massively utilise the most promising and proven players we have at the club in Fatawu, Mavididi, Bilal, Monga, Alves, Evans, Nelson, even Justin and Thomas. Managers like Russell Martin would utilise Vestergaard and Winks, whilst possibly improving players like Nelson, Justin, Okoli. He's unlikely to fancy Stolarzcyk unless he feels he can massively improve on the ball, he's very likely to completely nulify the intensity of Fatawu, Mavididi, Bilal, Monga, Alves and Evans. As well as we did last season, most of the players that made that squad tick have already left, or are likely to leave in the upcoming window, so I don't see our predicted leftover squad being a natural fit for RM. No Vardy, likely no Ricardo, no KDH, no Ndidi, no Hermansen, Faes will be gone (thank god but he did at least fit the system last season) We need a manager who can come in and use the squad available and be flexible, we aren't going to be spending £45m and giving out 90k a week contracts this time around.
  18. Yeah the Pedersen rumours come from Martin apparently wanting him as part of his backroom team, a lot of Wednesday fans rate him and think he could take over when Rohl inevitably leaves. Rohl and Pedersen would be a massive step forward.
  19. Martinball at Leicester just gives you goosebumps doesn't it.
  20. The thought of winning possession high up the pitch and having an attacking line of Fats, Mavididi, Monga, Bilal (maybe? probably not) Alves etc bombing forward only to turn around and pass it back to their full back to pass to Vestergaard, to play it into winks, who goes back to Nelson, who passes it to Thomas, who passes it to Jakub, who plays it forward to Justin, who passes it into Skipps, who plays it short to Winks, who plays it back to vestergaard, who pings it quickly into jakub, who fumbles the control and we concede
  21. Still fully behind him, but can see the writing on the wall that his recent behaviour to escape Wednesday probably repeats itself when our lot give him another shopping list of lies
  22. Yep just realised i'm a bit behind on that one
  23. Rumoured to be in talks about the Werder Bremen job.
  24. I mean, the board u-turned on Jesse Marsch because of the fan backlash, the backlash towards RM has been far stronger, surely someone, somewhere in the club is passing this feedback on?? Someone at the club needs to print these 73 pages off and put it under Rudkins door. Martin seems a good guy and would probably leave us in a better position than he inherited, but the point is you can already envision his departure before he’s even started, he’s admitted himself he’s more determined than ever not to deviate his game plan, madness if we go for this. He would be a great match for Rangers, but this place will be toxic after 5-10 matches next season if we follow the game plan of his Southampton team last season.
  25. What a contrast between us and Saints. 72 pages of mainly dread and absolute disgust at the boards complete lack of imagination and ignorance towards fans opinions, compared to the Southampton fans who for the most part look absolutely raring to go already, behind the manager and excited for the future. Its making me feel sick seeing where we are.
