  1. By the sounds of it, that will be his mum
  2. I think that’s more than fair
  3. Let’s hope he can put a shift in. Last thing we need is a Lazy boy
  4. I actually feel more disappointed about him leaving than some of the spineless players we have had to watch over the last 18 months. At least John was at the top of his game, very highly thought of and seemed to care about standards. Such a shame to see him go to that bunch of scheisters.
  5. I’ve only watched the odd game here or there for about 3 seasons, other than us, and will be watching even less now. I haven’t even watched the BBC highlights for 2 years as we have been so poor. Really not interested in other clubs
  6. No doubt the narrative when he moves will be “ it was in the best interest of the club that I moved on so whilst I will love the club forever, I now move on to another chapter in my football life “
  7. Whoever it is, the decision needs to be made very quickly and hopefully in place to get working very soon
  8. Yes he is 😀 We’ve done all of those joke’s especially if we are out in London late 😳
  9. My CEO lives next door to John Terry and is very matey with him. He calls him JT and I’ve taken the p*ss saying “ just call him John, that’s his name, you’re just trying to be down with the kids” He just replies that everyone calls him JT and he has him as JT on WhatsApp- think he’d get totally confused if John sent him a message. BTW he says that JT is a good laugh
  10. I feel kind of bad for saying I was off to Cyprus for a fortnight in the What are you doing for the next 10 weeks thread 😀
  11. Going to Cyprus for a couple of weeks Couple of trips to theatre, The Lion King in Birmingham and London weekend with ballet at Royal Opera House (culture vulture) Taking wife, 2 sons, daughter, 3 granddaughters, older brother, older sister, niece and son in law for a week in Abersoch, North Wales Continue to hunt down Brendan Rodgers but other than that not trying to think about football at all. ( please note that if anything untoward did by chance happen to BR in the coming months then the hunting down bit is just a joke, honestly )
  12. First action - They are going to fully convert the Kop and East Stand to high end Corporate and sell over priced packages to the hordes who will have no idea that Leicester are no longer in the Premier League to help bridge the gap in revenues. West stand lounges will be supplied with Greggs sausage rolls rather than the artisan “Wild boar pastry packages” and price to remain at £6 for the first home game but will increase by inflation rate for each subsequent game ( should reach around £11 by Christmas) creating high profit unit for buy in price of just 50p All lounges to sell cheap gassy lager at ridiculous price……….oh hang on, that’s been done.
  13. Heard the same. For all his many faults Bodgers may well have sussed that Rudkin knows pretty much **** all about football ……..as soon as Rudkin realised this he turned on BR and agitated to get him sacked.
  14. There are bars everywhere so take your pick. You will find a few bars on the river which are a bit different and try the rooftop bar at the Gare de L’est, cool place to go. I like the Le Marais area which is the 3rd and 4th arrondissments (not far from Louvre which is in 1st arrondissement) and a nice walk from the Louvre area. Lots of bars and restaurants and a trendy area. Area around Jardin du Luxembourg is nice as well Personally I’d steer well clear of the Champs- Elysees as overpriced and the worst service. Some nice places on the Boulevard St Germain with some good restaurants and nice shops and also some nice little street bars on the Ile de La Cite (Notre Dame) …..visit Saint Chapelle church, beautiful. Also on Boulevard Haussmann there are the two biggest department stores Galerie Lafayette and Printemps which have good restaurants, would suggest Brasserie Printemps, and go up to the terrace rooftop at Galerie Lafayette for great views over Paris and grab a drink. Opera Garnier is a great place to visit and well worth spending an hour looking round. Although it’s very touristy I would also go up to Monmarte and have a drink in the Place du Tertre where all the artists are painting. I would make sure you use the Metro and buy a metro carnet (10 tickets) as it is cheaper than buying individual tickets - you can get them at pretty much every station. Have a great time, it’s a great city.
  15. Looking forward to watching Luke Thomas up against Bowen 😳
  16. Totally agree The team spirit and ability to fight for a result is as low as I can remember since that Holloway season. Unless there are some radical changes to the football hierarchy at the club we could be languishing in the Championship for a long time
  17. Clinton’s wife actually told Tim that he was suffering from hypochondria and he replied with “ oh no so I’ve got that as well now !” Sorry 🙂
  18. An amazing day in London with around 10,000 Leicester fans there…… remember it was like walking down Welford Road as we walked to Craven Cottage
  19. Ok if it helps A lovely fox ran across in front of us when we were walking this morning- he looked very relaxed
  20. Our family have a house (lucky I know) so we chill , do beaches one day and the pool the next. We go snorkelling, go on a couple of boat trips and generally fit in to Caribbean speed of life We came back a couple of weeks ago after a great 15 night trip and miss it already…would say that everything has gone stupidly expensive. Do go to T and T as really lovely
  21. Just booked for 18 night trip to Barbados in early March next year , 😀
  22. Agree…..since posting the above you’ve managed to get it out of your head but now….. it’s back !
  23. Off to Barbados tomorrow 😀
