If your wife hired a builder and he completely ****ed up your house, then the next year the same builder was hired again by her. I’d be livid at both my wife and the builder for coming and ****ing up my house again. Really frustrating isn’t it. They aren’t getting that this is the last straw. He’s been supported but there is no world that he should be brought back in. This is the clubs fault for not ripping up his contract and the managers for being daft enough to include him. The fans are not to blame at all and why are we expected to play happy families. The message needs to be received and he’s told to get out the club.

I don’t know about that. Might seem that way because of his casual approach with the media but everyone who works with him talks about how he spends every minute analyzing previous games and opposition. Obviously Claudio isn’t the best tactical manager out there, but that’s not for a lack of effort on his part. He gives himself as good of a chance as he can. In many ways that’s how we won the title, he saw what we were doing previously that was working and built on it. small tweaks rather than a new base entirely. I think people sometimes get fooled because of his media facing approach…. Which in fairness is exactly why he does it

Despite having it all, Haaland really is just a luxury player. He does nothing to help when the team isn’t flowing. It’s no real surprise Norway weren’t qualifying for things despite having him. He needs service and isn’t capable of dragging a team up himself.

Villa are very close to the line with FFP and likely want to bring in reinforcements for the champions league. With watkins and Duran purring he obviously has no path. So either they are planning to sell Watkins for big dosh, want to loan him to the championship to sell in the summer or… they are going to bank 15m now. I said it last season and got laughed at, but he is no better than Damarai Grey. He just feels like a too good for the championship, not good enough for the prem type of player. he missed a lot of easy chances and assists last season and he wont get 5/6 opportunities a game in this league. That’s the difference between the 2 leagues, to make it, you need to be able to convert at least 1 out of 3 good chances into a goal.

Oh piss off man! He got the club relegated and won’t leave. He deserves no ounce of loyalty from anyone and the boos are more at you than him. he shouldn’t have been allowed to wear the badge again. This isn’t a good player on some bad form, it’s a horrendous player doing exactly what we all knew he would do!

what worry’s me most is that it actually shows me a couple of things about Ruud. That he doesn’t do research and possibly thinks he’s above that. I think any detail oriented manager like maresca or Claudio , would have looked into the past enough to see how bad ward is. Your average fan already knows that he can’t be trusted and yet what I would guess has happened is this: Ruud has arrived and looked to see who was number 2 keeper. It was ward (because cooper is thick as pig muck) so he has left it at that. That shows a terrible side to a manager imo. The alternative that he actually thinks he’s better than iversen and that he made this call himself … is actually unthinkable.

Well in that case may I suggest following a different club?

Well you say that but they signed lallana, Milner and Welbeck… they also realise you need to sign a few experienced pros. the situation we are in financially does mean we have to pick up a few like that. Obviously we don’t want to see it too often but we weren’t going to get any starter in for the money we spent on those guys and we have an instant need for impact. Whereas they are safe and growing so can spend the 8m we spent on ayew on a young south American talent that they can be patient with.

we’re not far away from it, we just aren’t doing it well. We wanted oreilly and soule… because their stats were great. We signed random players like okoli and bilal… we just aren’t currently doing it as well as them.
