We should be getting him on a 4 year contract and planning to sell after 2 years imo. I think he’s crucial for many reasons. This team is devoid of leaders but you can see that he’s the main person talking and orchestrating. Not in a Kasper (shout at everyone for everything) type of way, he does it but still seem very popular. His attitude is impeccable and if anyone should be our next captain it’s him imo. Id bet he’s the player with the most tactical knowledge by far, as you can see that he thinks a few moves ahead. The reason things are looking worse off with him, is because quite frankly he probably has a better knowledge of the game than Cooper. Well its basically when a team is obviously designed to play a certain way and naturally that can take time for players to adapt to.
