he was given license to try things today, enzo obviously tinkered to allow it. Good to see. They won’t always come off but that’s fine with me, the ball to daka in the first half was stupendous
-
well done to enzo, when everyone doubted his methods he got the players to really react. Doyle made a huge difference for me as did ricardo obviously. But the biggest improvement was from faes who i thought really put us on the front foot. Well done lads, glad to see we’ve got some fight left in us
-
it will be interesting if we do finish top 2, to see the reaction too and anyone else from the board gets at any celebrations. I’m not sure even if we are winning people will be so quick to forgive them. But then again, we clap players for getting relegated 🤷♂️

Soumare plays 90 in a win against a mid table la liga club and our fans think he’s not good enough for a side who couldn’t score at a mid table championship club Whether you rate him or not, your logic on why you’re targeting that particular game rating makes no sense
-
I don’t get this. How long does vardy dwell on misses? i’d definitely start him out of the options we have. He literally dragged us through the hull match
-
He’s made some poor choices with destinations. Derby were an awful fit with mel morris. leuven just culturally didn’t fit. Watford, he turned them around and without their owners being lunatics would have had a very good chance of keeping them in the prem. Bristol fans were incredibly happy with him and felt he was rebuilding in an excellent manner. He’s not a tactical genius, i know that. But we need someone to galvanize and rebuild on what is likely to be a very tricky environment over the next few years. I’d feel safe with pearson that he could still get a tune out of whatever we get stuck with. That’s even taking away my bias, I just think he’s good in that scenario. Cooper would also do very well. I think certain managers, even if they are very good, will struggle with the forced sales and no ability to replace. So we need someone who is capable of getting on with it whatever the situation
-
he basically issued a come and get me yesterday
-
honestly pearson is the answer for many reasons. The fans would massively get behind the club at a time when it’s pretty hard to do so. He would give the players a big boost and give us half a chance at fixing the collapse. If we don’t go up, who better to deal with such limited resources than pearson. The best thing about pearson is the rebuild job he’s capable of. The negative is that i’m not sure he can take us where we want to be if we go up. But I’d like to see him have a chance.
-
Still think i’m wrong on this? He’s nowhere near decisive enough to be a premier league footballer
-
were in no position to have him then, because the squad isn’t going be improved
-
steve cooper is genuinely a great shout
-
no effort at all today. I’ve been one of his biggest defenders but that looked effortless. And seeing as his game is all about that hard press… that’s not what you like to see. Reminiscent of maddy when things were going against him. one foot out the door
-
5-0 norwich and enzo is out the door. We are going to collapse before we rise again.
-
I lost a lot of respect today, awful performances all over the pitch, strong options on the bench and he didn’t use them. He speaks of a plan b pre match, they score, he instantly grabs kel and i’m thinking, finally 2 up top …. but nope, vardy comes off and he changes absolutely nothing. Wilf was on fumes. the players looked exhausted still, even after the big break. It makes me think it’s mental fatigue rather than physical and the players are out of motivation to make this work
-
why tf have we given up. pathetic
-
that’s 2 pens var would have given. Really should have played coady my word
-
I’m proper excited for the next two games. I’m not really sure why, but they just feel absolutely massive. I kinda like that everything is against us at the minute, everyone can hate us as far as i’m concerned. Monday in particular is so spicy. Us - norwich Leeds-hull ipswich-southampton These 2 are season defining game weeks and 6 points would be the best we’ve got all season imo.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Get our lawyer to call their lawyer ! -
we’re hardly going to get 40m for madison and 30 odd for barnes then demand 45 for kdh. Weve shot ourselves in the foot by letting them out the door on the cheap. cuts even deeper when you see the prices southampton got for livramento and lavia
-
This comment right here is huge! Looks like Enzo may have been adapting incase our patient style is tested. As he said, hopefully it’s not needed but nice to know he’s working on a plan B
-
Doesn’t deserve it imo. He could have stayed and learnt the enzo way this season. I don’t particularly want to keep any of the players who weren’t willing to give it a try this season. We may be forced to keep him but it’s certainly not something i’d be happy about. He could do the winks role pretty well, but he wouldn’t put that extra effort in that winks does.

sorry I wasn’t clear. I mean down the line, not this summer. Clubs who would ordinarily want tk build around there youth products will now consider more than just their financial value. It makes them worth almost double on the books and this will lead to teams taking cut price early offers rather than waiting for someone to meet their potential at their original clubs. -

oh I’m thinking more once they’ve started playing for us. Youth players are pure profit which make them the preferred players to sell. Look at villa, ramsay and archer had great loans and at the time seemed like the type of players you’d want to develop but they sold them at the first opportunity.Jacob Ramsey is adored but he will be the one to be sold in the summer, not because he will fetch more cash but purely because he’s all profit. If you get Alves break in and look like a mini mahrez, i just couldn’t see us planning to build around him… we’d be taking that first decent offer. Ffp is a cancer it really is and the sooner it’s gone the better! -

Am I the only one terrified that we finally have a golden generation of youth players coming through and we are likely to cash in on them all because of ffp? Let’s face it 10m offers for alves, nelson or braybrooke would be accepted.. which would be a real gut punch -
Faes is absolutely quality… until his head goes, which is the exact reason he’ll never be a top defender. I know it seems like a lazy comparison but even if he had no hair, he’d still remind me of David Luiz in that regard. I posted a comparison chart on top level defenders earlier in the season, his stats put him alongside the best (from last year) … but it doesn’t tell the full story because with faes it’s the basics that go wrong, which at the end of the day undoes any of the good from all the individual battles he’s won all game. For me, the vivid moment that I learnt this was in our collapse to bournemouth. There were air kicks and he really went from Maldini to ryan mcgivern in minutes. I just remember a moment when ward ghosted the ball and for whatever reason he just didn’t try to clear it on the line. I remember watching and people not really commenting on it, but as a defender i find it hard to watch that one as he was just as bad at stopping it as ward. Not one that inspires confidence in season defining moments but hopefully he can have a strong end to the season
