I’d snap your hand off for that now though. Go up, consolidate, rely on loans, give youngsters a chance and hope for a miracle. Or drop down in a much better financial situation and rebuild…. seems ridiculous as this was supposed to be the rebuild platform but looks like we’ve messed it all up again.

i wonder if they will flog buendia on the cheap. Don’t think he gets back in the team now after a year out.

Sunderland (A) - Tuesday 5th March - 7.45pm

Give yunus a shot from the off. I think he’s someone that would benefit from feeling his way into the game. My only hesitance is how physical sunderland are but we don’t really have a stronger option. -
well now they’ve seen him play

i think justin has done well enough to make premier league sides take note as well. If Max aaron’s got a move than justin will be heavily sought after now that people see he’s over his injury concerns

Who do we expect to lose next season if the worst happens. Kdh- almost certainly off. Hermansen- I think there would be interest for 20-25m Nobody out of contract renews faes- i think someone takes a punt soumare and VK- we’d ship them both out for a loss, they’ve done enough for moves on their loans but we won’t get much for either Ricardo- i’d be really hoping we keep him, I think if enzo stays, he stays, but in a world without enzo, he’s asking to go Mavididi- If a lower level prem side comes for him, he’s gone. Overall, I think similar to this season, everyone is for sale. I’m not convinced there’s anyone we’d take firmly off the table. It’s a truly bleak thought as we’d done a decent rebuild job and it could all collapse because we couldn’t pull together 2m for that last piece of quality we needed

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Lambert09 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
To be fair to the club, the goal posts were moved in an attempt to stop clubs like us challenging. We created a new wage structure to secure our assets and make us competitive. Then FFP came in and it’s obviously very hard to then go back on that structure. Yes vardy gets 125kpw but you need to come in on 20k. FFP was designed to put clubs like us in our place. So i’m not fully blaming the club for not meeting it. We wouldn’t have signed anyone last year but due to desperation had to throw money at souttar, VK and tete in an attempt to survive. Take the points deduction and get on with it -
Luck is a genuine aspect in football. It really bothers me to hear people say you make your own luck, because it’s complete bull. What isn’t ‘luck’ is us consistently missing easy chances. So i don’t take that as ‘luck’ that’s just our players having a lack of composure. In certain games we let ourselves down but in some, luck was largely at play. Both leeds and coventry were bad luck moments, because overall bad decisions by a ref cost us and on other days that wouldn’t have happened. QPR we were blunt and they took their chances, nothing to do with luck. That’s just football. But there’s no way, you can look at ipswich and not agree luck has gone their way. They have scored the most outrageously lucky goals i’ve ever seen, they’ve had very luckyref calls go their way ( the non plymouth pen is up there with the worst i’ve seen from officials) They’ve avoided goals by chances hitting the post where inches would have knocked off points on an incredible amount of occasions. If ipswich had worse luck, they’d probably be 12 points behind. But, it is, what it is and that’s football. As for us, I can only remember one post saves the day moment, which was actually justin tonking his own. Overall we’ve been way more dominant in games than ipswich and i think that will show by the end of the season. Certainly still more worried by southampton than them

if getting rid of king power is the only way to get rid of rudkin…. then it simply needs to happen! Their family will always be special to us, but we’re at a crossroads and they are unable to take us forwards from here.

no arguments there

A little harsh on Enzo, who on the whole has been a great character for us. Hoping he demands more and makes real changes though. Today was pathetic. I think this captain rotation is going to hurt him though. Just make a choice!

once again, a clear fault in our spine is showing. It’s obvious, we are lacking a real leader on the pitch. The way we’ve collapsed recently and nobody has truly stepped up to drag our heads up. Nobody to make us believe we can get back into the games. We literally signed coady for this reason. We lost two hugely important players in vesty and ricardo and the game was crying out for a leader…. and we don’t play coady! i’m flabbergasted! Maybe it was too much after extra time… but you suck it up, we needed coady today. You look around and everyone just had their heads down. We conceded the first because the cb’s aren’t communicating. Coady would have just brought the experience we needed to grind this one out.

justin was sh*te, mavididi was sh*te, yunus was sh*te, fatawu was exciting but overall sh*te, faes was sh*te. You can’t get away with that many people having a bad day
-
you’re absolutely welcome guys!
-
that’s nothing, chair tried to kill a guy, got sentenced to jail and is playing championship football today
-
Zac Booth played 90 and scored in a 5-2 loss today
-
it’s a good thing that winning against a club ‘you don’t really care about’ is more important than promotion
-
lumped on southampton, ipswich and leeds… guarantees someone drops points
-
I struggle to get hyped for 7am games. Bast*rds
-
He’s one of us …. by that I mean, grammatically suspect

really hoping the luton run of form isn’t completely over. They’ve dropped back off quite a bit in the last few weeks. Really need them to bury forest
