  1. all teams have blips in form. You don’t give up on an idea after a string of bad performances. If everyone is at their usual levels we win all the games we’ve dropped points in 🤷‍♂️
  2. well it clearly was working. We’ve had about 2 games all season where we weren’t the best side on the pitch. We create plenty, the issue is that we can’t hit a barn door with a banjo most of the time
  3. Just to be clear, I don’t actually think changing the formation or style for this game would be right. He’s working on something so scrapping that for a one-off game wouldn’t make sense. It’s more a situation where i hope he’s aware those changes need to be implemented on pre-season….. if we are successful in gaining promotion
  4. i’m all for a manager having a blue print and a style, but my concern has always been that this is not marescas… it’s a recreation of peps. Which for the league i’m fine with because our squad is on a higher level (akin to man city’s) but against equal or stronger teams, that’s when we will learn if enzo is the real deal because it’s beyond naive to think we can outplay everyone because of philosophy rather than quality.
  5. if we go up, I think this game is showing that either, we need a huge upgrade in quality (unlikely with the ffp situation) or we are going to have to adapt our style. We look far too open. Burnley should genuinely be our case study in what not to do
  6. come off it, nowhere near as much pressure on that game
  7. mildly concerning that fatawu seems to drop off on the big occasions. Hopefully he turns this around, massively over thinking at the moment (never a pen btw)
  8. its the last minute of extra time and leicester are bringing on Danny Ward….. it’s going to penalties he saves 5 and leicester go through
  9. very jealous mate. I worry the most about things out of my control
  10. I just don’t get this interpretation. Fans views are usually developed by the events of the past. I wouldn’t say it’s a simple optimist vs pessimist… this is a result of dejavu. The same posts were said when people were alarmed about us falling out of the top 4, then again the next season. Then the relegation. I think our fans, of all fans, have the most reason to be alarmed when things start heading this way because we have experienced it on multiple occasions. This isn’t old bobs worries because we did this 60 years ago, it’s largely involving the same people that were part of the previous collapses. Fwiw I do believe we are better set to avoid this now then in the previous examples… and that’s because i truly believe enzo is great and will get it right… but I completely resonate with those that don’t have the belief we will turn the ship around… and based on history they have more evidence supporting our likely fate than the ‘we’ve got the best squad’ argument
  11. I genuinely believe that I would let go of my belief the cup draws are rigged if we were drawn against cov in the semis of this. But there’s absolutely no chance they would allow the possibility of not having a man c. vs man u/ liverpool final. ZERO! You have no idea how badly i want to be proved wrong in that.
  12. yup, a bit similar to how the government are trying to wreck the nhs so that people accept privatization
  13. it’s all part of their master plan. Bankrupt the lower levels and make the playing field as unlevel as possible. Get to a point where the entitled clubs finish ahead at a canter and they start complaining about the clubs coming up not being good enough… it all paves a way for them to exit as they complain that nobody is interested in watching them play against “insert yo-yo club”
  14. yeah that’s not good for luton. Definitely the type of game that sucks that last bit of hope from you
  15. well there are the occasional penalties conceded and that type of thing, but not actually let us down if you know what i mean. The only time I genuinely remember vividly was when he came off the bench to play fullback and conceded a penalty to liverpool.
  16. I find it baffling that we are scared to make changes with someone like Marc on the bench. You can count on one hand the number of times he’s let us down.
  17. The issue is largely that the owners are mostly in it for the business. To them, why would they agree to make less money on their investment. It’s the exact reason we need independent regulators. In what world would Tony the billionaire from Nashville give a damn that Bournemouth were in league 2, years ago.
  18. the 10 clubs who were against the changes. Pathetic that so many of them were down the pyramid in very recent history.
  19. what about southampton still think they are more likely than ipswich
  20. clubs in the efl struggle to pay for the costs of operating a stadium. The costs of running seagrave will be hugely significant and i genuinely believe would financially ruin us if we had a sustained period outside of the top flight. I think some people think you just build it and that’s that. Maintenance and operational costs required in a place like that must set us back millions. It’s like bloody centre parcs
  21. bit extreme. Would it do better than hodgson though?
  22. Howe is a little bit the victim of his own success. He came in and somehow got average players playing top 4 standard football… now that the form has run off, those players are back to playing like they used to. The injury’s have hit and he’s back relying on the almiron that grealish joked about playing like and a dan burn that runs in treacle. They jumped up a few gears before their squad was fully there. I genuinely believe our squad wasn’t too far from there’s at the start of last season. Football is truly fine margins
  23. I just want to see more of albrighton tbqh. We just need his experience
  24. youri is so unreliable
