in north america, do i lose my winning team bet if it goes to OT? or am i still in it?

very good day for our cause. A strong finish to the campaign and we might get some cash in. Sounds like he had one of his rare athletic displays where he was everywhere on the pitch
-
great win and 90 mins for soumare against athletico madrid
-
a real shame for him as it looked like he was ready to kick on but can only assume the decision to not play him is due to the obligation in his contract rather than a tactical decision.
-
is he any good? sign him up

thankfully huddersfield have scored again

I still back my original post here. I think if we can get him banging them in for the remainder of the campaign he will be our most important player next year. Feels like a striker that will always score goals and i’m confident he will come good in the prem for us.

i’ve always wondered, because i’ve never seen it happen. But with obligation/ options to sign players, does the player get a chance to turn it down? Or they sign the deal at the start and it’s just an option the club have? Hypothetically, if chelsea came sniffing now and got in his ear, could he turn it down and just sign for them in the summer? (i feel sick typing that)

if you’re a fan who’s not willing to give nelson a start against a floundering watford side…. never complain about youth not getting a chance. You simply have to put faith in them and i think enzo will give him his chance. So far he’s proved he’s good enough and there won’t be too many other opportunities to bed him in. It’s not like coady has done much when he’s been on.

im all for it if they copy hockey and take the keeper off for an extra outfield when a player up
-
he did tell Rishi Sunak to FOAD though. That earns a bit of respect

do you get a yellow and a blue? or just the blue. Players are going to be diving on the halfway line now ffs
-
on paper that sounds nice, but considering the team finishing 17th in the prem is getting 9m that’s not really fair. The gap between the finances is already big enough, so whilst that sounds charitable, it makes the promoted clubs task ahead even harder

Would you support a "Super League"?
Lambert09 replied to ozleicester's topic in General Football and Sport
whilst i agree, at least you get there on merit. Somethings going to happen one way or the other, they want more high profile football in different regions. So i’d much prefer something that doesn’t drastically alter the game. It is a load better than the silly mini pre-season tournaments currently put on. -

whilst everything about a super league is gross, what I would be fine with, is an additional summer tournament. Basically a quick fire champions league. Boosts income for the greedy lot, a champions only (or runners up) would be my preference. Winners from the top leagues over the last few years. Cram them inbetween euros and world cup years. So essentially 2 teams from the top 16 leagues. ( 2 winners or best placed runners up points combined). Adds some excitement to the blank summers and hopefully gets rid of the abomination that is the european friendly tournament. I don’t think people would mind that, if they host them wherever they want, as it doesn’t effect the traditional game. If the people in charge of this initiative were smarter and less greedy they could have easily created something tangible and very lucrative for themselves (if… and it’s a big if, they are doing well enough on the pitch to deserve it) -
you’re slinging a dead horse mate. Of course someone on here would have to be close to rudkin, it’s evident this individual has some sort of connection. Theres no logical explanation for why anyone would look at the state of our affairs and find a way to take the blame away from the ‘Director of football’. The position that everyone in the game deems the most important role at a club. Others are culpable but if you removed rudkin from his role things would improve drastically.

screw it, let him go and give Alves the minutes
-
great assist for VK in Bolognas win It’s been a good week for him
-
that front 4 is close to premier league level. Wouldn’t say no to any of them here to be honest. Zaroury obviously hasn’t stepped up at burnley but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t. Philogene is an unreal talent

personally think that with the business Hull have done, there’s not a lot between them and leeds in terms of quality. Could be very interesting. Leeds Ipswich Hull Cov Thats how I see it playing out come the end of the campaign. I’ve never really seen what others have seen with west brom. Well managed but lacking something
