Am I wrong in thinking this is the guy that pulled a hamstring every time he faced vardy? -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
Lambert09 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
We probably signed them because top still thinks Enzo is going to come 😂 -
The context is that opoku is playing for the bottom club in league 2 and hardly pulling in rave reviews. let’s give this guy a chance. He might end up woeful but you occasionally pluck a gem from a youth team. Chelsea have better scouts than us, thats all I know

Wasn’t a loan

By train do you mean have a spa day, play some golf and take a quick 5 min video of playing football for the media team?
-
It’s hard to screw up loan deals. Far less complex.

Our next 4 games are tricky as a well. We have to age a quick improvement or we will be in the thick of it

I guess the fact we haven’t spent a penny kinda rules out the thought we missed out on Kone. Simply couldn’t afford him

Cracking signing for them
-
Only positive, as I said in the other thread , is that his one key attribute is his ball carrying and we desperately need a player to help us progress the ball further up the pitch to allow fatawu and mav to actually play in dangerous areas and not trying to beat 3 players at the halfway line
-
So I think I have a little bit of an idea why he’s being targeted. one of the most obvious issues we have, is the large gap between our midfield and attack. Joe Aribo is good at one thing really, ball progressing. I can only assume that he’s being brought in to help move us further up the field without having to just ping the ball out wide and expect our wingers to get past 3 men before we can actually get into the final 3rd. as awful as he is, this has to be the reason why?!
-
I think he’s going to be okay, just enough that we sign him in the summer before he shits the bed like the rest of them and sits in seagrave as the new soumare on his 4 year deal
-
Archer was going in loan to rangers. I’d have been far more interested in him tbh
-
Larin is a smart move because if he has a strong World Cup you could turn a quick profit on him… a Saudi club would deffo go for him

Jamaal Lascelles joins on 6 month deal (official.)
Lambert09 replied to Burbagefox89's topic in Transfer Talk
If he can last until souttar is back then it’s job done imo -
We got carranza gone at the start of the month….. it is beyond a joke that we don’t have a striker lined up.
-
I was just exaggerating for effect but that’s a mad coincidence it’s 24
-
I find it baffling how few people on here realise quite how many points he won us last time he was in the championship. He could probably earn us more than a striker. We haven’t kept a clean sheet since 2024 ffs
-
It’s not disrespectful, it’s realistic based on how shoddy our team is. How exactly is Enzo getting a similar tune out of this lot without vardy, kdh and even wilfs goal contributions? he would be good for a lot but at the end of the day while James is injured, I just don’t see how exactly we match the level of output needed. Because Enzo didn’t purely rely on the wingers and that’s all we have at the moment (assuming he’d get the old stephy back)
-
Interesting. So no harm in getting 6/7 then. no wonder we are targeting lots of positions then because we are shoddy all over
-
Probably because these links are planned to distract fans. Whereas we are actually working on a striker and don’t want to mess it up with silly rumours about signing other players
