I hate to be controversial but that was a problem then as well. Felt like we pretty much went up without a striker. It was probably our least efficient position on the pitch that season. I think we will notice it much more , even with a half decent player coming in. We should have been scoring a lot more from open play given how many chances we created

No title is a bad one, but this has to be up there as one of the worst of all time? Don’t think there’s ever been a moment past the first few months where anyone genuinely thought they might not win it

Personally don’t think we would have made automatic promotion without him last time out. This year is going to harder, we need him for whatever we can get out of him. Certainly one of the last I’d be looking to get out the club

I think he’s like the opposite side of a dyche though. I don’t think spurs found it fun once the novelty wore off. You don’t just make yourself easy to score against for principles. Like if we were doing well and found our way to the fa cup semi final and came up against a top 6 side. How raging would you be when Ange rocks up and tries to out score a man city or Liverpool… it would feel like such a waste of an attempt to achieve something. I don’t want any more arrogant managers whose style and principles are bigger than the club. I just want a manager who try’s to achieve the best results they can with Leicester… is that too much to ask? Lose the ego and play however you need to on the day, be humble and appreciate the fans and our history. it’s really not too much to ask.

My biggest screw up, (technically wasn’t me) I was drafting an important confidential email and used a template from another client and was just going to edit the numbers and names, usual stuff. But before I was able to change any of the stuff my cat jumped on the keyboard and off it went. He has an aura that makes it seem like he’s doing more than he is. Some players are just like that. He’s got talent I don’t doubt that but I’m not sure how effective he actually is. When you compare him to early season Facundo, it’s not even close. He seems to me that he’s one of those #10s that actually doesn’t get great numbers. I feel that even if you put him in man city, whilst his pretty football would make him look great, he still wouldn’t be getting that many goal contributions. His distribution to me is just not consistent enough and his free kicks and corners really showcase that. 7 woeful before 1 decent ball. However, he hasn’t been working with anything. So maybe he’s a different player with a firing striker and fatawu and Stephy.

This season is going to be a stark contrast to last time. Last time we were in it until the final day and even won the last game. This time we just get battered every week. I think anyone involved will struggle to shake that off straight away. If you look at Luton they have a fairly good account of themselves in the prem in the first half but the end of the campaign was miserable… they never managed to pick themselves up again, players like Doughty and Morris looked like shadows of themselves. The motivation to get promoted sometimes drains from you when you’ve realised you’re not good enough to be there. My biggest request for ruud right now, would be to not play Ricardo. We just don’t need to risk him and he has nothing to gain from it. I think he may have even got injured at the weekend but I’m not paying close enough attention. play woyo, play kids that need experience. Give Vardy every minute. Theres no point having Bilal do his ACL in a meaningless game at the end of a season

Bought this yesterday and it’s amazing! A throwback to old gaming but with graphics. Something about it is really mesmerizing. I thought the combat having dodges was going to be repetitive and boring but its really well done and each new enemy throws you off with their movements.

Yeah I think many fans (myself included) give him a bit of a break as the club cost him half a season and I always looked at it as if he was coming back from a big injury but when you look at someone like tonali, you can see the time away from football can’t really be an excuse

I do get your point and think others are misunderstanding what you’re trying to say. But, we needed to see him tested in the championship. charity minutes after we’ve already been confirmed down, with us half arsing it, would not be more beneficial than the real competitive minutes in a pressure scenario like that. The problem for alves is that he’s stuck around to get these potential chances before and we never seem to get him any pitch time. what we should do and what ruud will do, are very different things

Can I ask why? They play different rules, in conditions they will never play in. it’s just a nice holiday for them. Sporting wise, it’s a complete waste of time

Today at 15:43 #184 Said recently that I thought he's been really good but not absolutely amazing, but today he was colossal. Possibly the best Oxford United centre half showing I've seen for a good few years. If he turns in that calibre of performance on a regular basis moving forward, he's going to be worth a lot of money. Easy to see why we didn't send him back in January despite his injury. That goal alone was worth every penny he's cost us this season. Good luck, young man, and thank you.

He’s not had much of an opportunity. He was positive in possession against brentford just shambolic at the back. He should get away with that in the championship

I think this the type of player we should be looking at. I think the club have shown us that the likelihood is we will go for a cast off that nobody in the top leagues will go near rather than an up and comer. we need to get this bit of business bang on and given that we let cannon go, at the bare minimum they have to be as good as him. Not too many obvious candidates as far as I’m aware, I don’t want to be broken record but Louie Barry is 10000% the player we should be targeting. I will die on this hill

I’d rather have slimani than daka that’s not debatable, he was more wrong player at the wrong time. And he was never going to challenge vardy. For me it’s between musa and coady. Musa because it was the greatest opportunity for us to sign real talent and he looked like Danny nguessian. The coady deal however, just never makes sense. Had a clause for 2 mill at Everton that they didn’t want. Was completely unwanted and we paid actual cash for him and he’s literally done nothing. 4 mill in the championship is more than 8 mill in the prem for ayew and ayew at least got a couple of important goals. not sure coady has earnt us a single point
