I just don't know what to make of him. He made a great run at the end to win a potential game winning free kick. The rest of the time nothing. He can't defend, doesn't create. Has no initial acceleration to help in any of the above. Not a starter for me and needs to be replaced.

Well it seems Alves is out of the first team equation after playing for the u21 last night.

I've just watched the goals from last night and I don't think he is directly responsible for any of them. 1 no marking inside him 2 Offside 3 CB not clearing the ball 4 Deflection 5 Poor back pass by Okoli He has made mistakes this season yes, but lets not put every goal down to him. We need to get behind some very talented players we have at this club.
