Into em then Leicester. They've got an extremely attacking team out.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Me resisting the urge to point out you all how wrong you are and how this is good business. -
Nice to see us go after a genuine creator. Have we signed one since Maddison.?

Theyre only quoting the original tweet.

Scored in the bronze medal match at the olympics.

Pretty sure he was all over the other deals we've done with Belgian players/clubs yeah.
-
What a bizarre take on things.

Worth pointing out that the other big reason for having a set piece coach is to defend set pieces. Spurs put 13 corners bang on the money and we defended them all stoutly. The only chance they really had from them was the 98th minute header that came from a freekick.
-
No doubt but the signing of Ayew makes no impact on that.
-
I’ve not seen a single person suggest that we should sign Ayew and then shut up shop. Even Cooper has constantly said that he wants two attacking players. He’s a good addition to the squad but we need guaranteed goals (or as guaranteed as a team predicted to finish 20th can manage to attract - which is a situation I don’t think many realise we are in).
-
I don’t see that he will be second fiddle but ultimately if he’s not scoring or assisting then he won’t be playing ahead of those two because they offer more outside of goals. id expect us to play Skipp and Mavididi tomorrow.

They have three fullbacks with Tete on the right, Robinson on the left and Castagne as the utility man for both sides. -
Mavididi is worth 3 times as much as a Premier League player as he is in the Championship. We can't afford to go down.
-
Exactly. I was much more in favour of the deal when it was about £4m but we're still getting a solid Premier League ready player for the same price we paid for an academy lad. Now we only need a proper number 9 and i'm content with this window.
-
I'd imagine because we were offering 3 years.
-
Decordova-Reid was out of contract at Fulham. Mavididi, Fatawu, Decordova-Reid and Ayew are 4 wingers who are all different to each other but regardless of that there's not a single team in the league that only has 2/3 wide options.
-
Rudkin hates Percy.
-
Palace fans are disappointed to be losing him.
-
I would argue that £5m on someone like the top scorer in the Latvian Premier League is a luxury yet it's the sort of signing that sets FoxesTalk's pulses racing. £5m for guaranteed results in the Premier League sounds like a necessity to me. We know exactly what we'll get from a player like Ayew.
-
Doesn't replace any of our wingers. We have Mavididi, BDCR and Fatawu that are probably Premier League standard. This probably allows us to let Alves and McAteer get 30+ games for a Championship club.
-
Nope, but there's absolutely no way that he's brought in because we think he's going to add goals to our side. His ability off the ball and to retain the ball is why we've got him.
-
Quite convinced that 90% of the bed wetters in here have never spent any time watching him play and are basing their entire opinion of him on his wikipedia page. He is exactly the sort of player you want in your team in a relegation battle and exactly the sort of character that the wasn't in the squad 15-16 months ago.
-
Never pushed on and was horribly exposed in the Premier League last season. Improvement on Woolfenden but doesn't get into our strongest team.
