  1. I don't disagree, but it's also a necessity that we start paying footballers a reasonable wage. £30k for a lad that's never even played in the Championship is a lot of money and would be well above market price. There are solid Premier League players on that sort of money. Yoanne Wissa has 16 league goals this season for Brentford and is on £25k a week for instance. There's plenty to offer a player outside of wages with Leicester. We shouldn't be relying on paying through the nose to sign players because it's how you end up with a squad of mercenaries that don't give a ****.
  2. None of what you've said makes him a bad person, it makes him a bad business owner.
  3. Outside of being a bad chairman and being a bit of an attention seeker when things are going well, what has he ever really done? He's nothing like the truly terrible owners like Chansiri or Ashley.
  4. Exactly. The same happened with Newcastle under Mike Ashley. Few rumbles of discontent when we went down but otherwise people know nothing will change so why bother? What's also hurting is that Aiyawatt is seemingly a pretty nice bloke. He isn't in the media every week telling us how lucky we are to have him there or how without him we'd be back in League one etc like the dickhead that owns Sheffield Wednesday.
  5. sports journalism is surely on it's arse when you've got articles quoting the "Fozcast".
  6. Birmingham are supposedly after him and are offering £30k a week.
  7. All of this makes me sad that Kasper was shoved out the back door when he left. He also deserved a big send off. Really hope we can get some sort of testimonial this summer. Morgan and Fuchs left during Covid. Injuries took retirement away from Huth. Then there's Andy King too. It's only really Albrighton that has retired and given the proper send off at Leicester under King Power rule. Even then Aiyawatt wanted to take the limelight with the trophy and his cronies.
  8. No, it's so that the club can resell tickets to other fans (i.e. rip them off).
  9. ****ing hell you grass
  10. I like the idea of Richard Kone. Would be cheap too as his contract expires in 2026. Big lad and a pain in the arse to play against but he's also very capable of bringing others into play. Good finisher too. Reminds me a lot of Ivan Toney when he was making his way through the leagues.
  11. I think our wingers will be the stars next season. The new manager should be building the side around Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga and Alves. I would like to see a striker that is best able to play with that sort of direct winger. Maybe someone who is comfortable with his back to goal, someone with a bit of presence but good movement also.
  12. Yep i'd take him.
  13. Did Vardy himself select that or did someone at the BBC put together a team of the best players he's played with?
  14. I am firmly against retiring the number 9. It should be something to aspire to for any Leicester lad. Every striker in the academy should dream of wearing the number 9 for City.
  15. The plate shows the badge of each club he scored against to break the 11 in a row record. With the Leicester badge being at the top. I don't think he ever won a Premier League player of the season though so not sure what the Barclays one is. Edit; It is a Premier League Player of the Season. Apparently there is a PL POTY as well as a PFA POTY (that Mahrez won).
  16. What is the plate on the bottom right (looks like it has 12 club crests on it) and also the Barclays branded trophy on the left?
  17. Hopefully they let @Union FS handle the Ipswich game.
  18. ****ing hell. Feel empty after watching that. Relegation didn't bother me half as much. Thank you Jamie, the greatest we'll ever have.
  19. Technically it was 2-1 when they went down to 10 men.
  20. Here is ChatGPT's statement. A Message from the Chairman – Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha To all Leicester City supporters, Today, I write to you not only as the Chairman of this proud football club, but as someone who shares in the deep sadness and disappointment that comes with our relegation from the Premier League. This is not the message I hoped to be sharing, nor is this the chapter any of us wanted to write in our club’s recent history. We are hurting, just as you are. Relegation is never the result of a single moment. It is the culmination of a season in which, despite the efforts of so many, we were unable to find the consistency, resilience, and performance levels required to maintain our place in the Premier League. We must be honest with ourselves: we fell short — in our planning, our execution, and ultimately, in our results. The responsibility for this outcome rests with us as a club. I take that responsibility seriously and personally. Our fans have shown unwavering support through incredibly challenging moments, and you deserved better. We failed to match your passion with performances on the pitch, and for that, I offer my deepest apologies. In recent years, we have celebrated incredible highs together — from the miracle of 2016, to lifting the FA Cup in 2021, and competing with pride in Europe. We know what this club is capable of achieving, and we must now reflect deeply and act decisively to ensure we build a team and an organisation that can return us to those heights. Work has already begun behind the scenes to prepare for the future. We will rebuild — stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever. We will take the time to learn from this season, to make the right decisions for the long-term stability and success of Leicester City Football Club. Our ambition remains unchanged. To every supporter who has stood by us, who has travelled, sung, and believed — thank you. Your loyalty means everything. This is not the end of our story. It is a difficult chapter, but one we will overcome together. With humility and determination, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha Chairman, Leicester City Football Club
  21. Other than the fact that under Cooper we'd conceded the 3rd most in the league, conceded first in 84% of our games, conceded the 2nd most shots and attempted the 2nd fewest shots.
  22. I just want a yellow away kit again. Blue kit white shorts at home, all yellow away, black with sky blue sash 3rd.
  23. I get why keepers pull out wide to show for the pass but there's no way they should in situations like that. One misplaced pass and it's a free goal. Saliba is turned away from the goalkeeper so there's no way that pass is ever on. Just get in your goal.
  24. He doesn't care. He hates us and we hate him. The sooner he ****s off the better but it won't happen.
