Lost all 4 of our 12.30 kick offs at the KP this season. Oddly enough have won all 4 of our 3pm kick offs. Away form at both times isn't great but still better at 3pm. So we just need 3pm kick offs for the rest of the season and we'll be fine

Much better organisation. Ricardo's best game for a while, Nelson was really good, Winks and Skipp put in a shift, Daka worked hard. Get Lascelles fit so he can play once a week and we stand a chance
-
Nelson has been very good tonight

Stoke 2-2 LCFC, post-match thread

Mukasa is levels above anything we've got. Not sure how you fit him and James into the same team but there's a glimmer of hope there. Have to just play to outscore the opposition for the remainder of the season. I don't think anyone could sort that defence out -
Oh Luke
-
Their winger had chance to bump into one of his own players and still nobody got within 5 yards of stopping the cross
-
Can you imagine in any other line of business being able to spaff about £15 million up the wall with no consequences
-
Don't think I've ever seen a worse player with the ball at his feet at this level than Okoli
-
Get some minutes for VK and experience for Aluko. That's about all there is to be gained from today. That midfield looks very lightweight

You're right, they have started to use bank loans secured against parachute payments, which is a worrying sign. But they do still have access to a £40 million loan from KP if needed. Like you say, when the parachute payments dry up, that's when the shit hits the fan. Best case scenario for me is we survive this year, somehow manage to rebuild in the summer and get promoted next year, and then the owners sell. I don't see another quick way out of this -

I have this fear as well but for slightly different reasons. Chansiri was actively looking to sell Sheff Wed but put a ridiculous asking price on them to try and recuperate some of his losses and that's why he couldn't sell. He then stopped funding day to day operations of the club. As much as I'd like to see the owners sell, if they do start looking for a buyer and ask for silly money to recuperate their losses, they may also decide to stop funding day to day operations of the club and we could easily end up in Sheff Wed's position. -
I'm about 80% sure we go down. Things that keep me hopeful are: Mukasa, James and Fatawu do carry a threat going forward and will score goals; if Lascelles can stay fit, he's better than what we had before; VK isn't good but he's much better than Thomas so he needs to come in when fit; Blackburn and West Brom are also really poor.

You can make up the squad however you want, there isn't a limit of on the amount of players you can have in one position. We cleared room in the squad by getting rid of Carranza, Faes and Soumare, so you replace them in positions that are the biggest problem areas in your team. Admittedly we've got loads of problem areas, but when teams are consistently targeting your left back, you have to make that your priority.
-
We needed to strengthen in all areas, but with limited resources you have to prioritise. I don't rate any of our 3 centre backs that highly but left back, right back, defensive midfield and striker were much bigger priorities in this window
-
I think the 2 areas that were lowest on our list of our priorities this window were centre back and attacking midfield. So we've signed a centre back and 2 attacking midfielders
-
Hope he does well and I know we need numbers all over the pitch but surely our priority needed to be full backs, a striker and a defensive midfielders

Soumare sold to Al-Duhail SC - Official

Defensively one of the worst midfielders I've ever seen, offered no attacking threat, couldn't progress the ball forward, wasn't physical, couldn't run. Apart from that, a city legend -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
MancFox24 replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd question the motivation of anyone who took this job at the minute. Completely disjointed and unbalanced squad, players who don't want to be here, no funds to recruit, disgruntled fanbase, looming points deduction, relegation battle. The only people who take it are either desperate for a job or looking for a pay day -
Manager needs to go but without players coming in, we're in serious trouble either way. That starting line up is relegation material
-
He isn't getting sacked no matter what the result. We could be sleepwalking towards another relegation here
-
I just don't see it. They may have played at a higher level but they either haven't done well at a higher level or they're now passed their best. I agree there could be a manager who could get more out of them, but leaving aside Fatawu, Winks and JJ, this is mainly a squad of mid championship quality players who should be delighted to get a point away at Wrexham
-
The attitude they showed yesterday in general was appalling. Wrexham were taking ages to take a throw towards the end when it was 1-0 and there wasn't a single one of our players in the ref's ear asking him to speed it up. Believe or not, I still think there's some in that dressing room who are arrogant enough to think they should be playing at a higher level and that's why they won't celebrate a last minute scrawny equaliser against Wrexham. JJ made some comments after a game earlier in the season where he said the players we've got are way better than the position we're in. It's actually the opposite- all the data says we've got far more points than we should have.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
MancFox24 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Fair enough, Thomas is up there. But it's more justified for him, even though I don't really like the abuse he gets because it's not his fault he just isn't very good and we gave him a 4 year deal. Ayew was bad last night but at least he gets himself involved in the game, even if it's not in a good way. BDCR, Mavididi, Fatawu were all just completely anonymous in that second half. And I won't be sad to see the back of him either, but if our scouting network identified Carranza as a good signing then be careful what you wish for -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
MancFox24 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
We always seem to have public enemy number 1 and it's now moved from Faes to Ayew. He doesn't help himself with his antics, but he's far from the biggest problem in this team. He can't play as a lone striker because he hasn't got the pace and isn't good at holding the ball up. He works better playing behind a striker, but when that striker is Daka, what hope have you got -
Didn't think anything could be as depressing as the football last night but this tops it. These people have always been there, it's just now they feel emboldened to spew their hatred. Takes some balls to call it out though so well done for doing it
