My ideal for the next 24 months would be Nige as DOF and Dyche as manager. Can you imagine that combo standing for the apathy and performance levels we currently have? They’d be alike a feckin’ defibrillator for the club.

Three points from 33. 10 losses in 11. It’s absolutely untenable. A complete, abject surrender and totally and utterly out of his depth. But still he has a job. There really can only be one explanation - that we can’t afford to sack him. It’s tempting to say that it’s because the club have given up and are taking us for mugs, but that’s just an anger statement. Of course they want to stay up. So what else could possibly justify this clown still being in post apart from the finances of parting ways?

The idea of “sticking with RVN” makes me feel ill. Totally out of his depth, as appeared likely at the time of his appointment to most people on here. Not all, but most. I don’t see anything about his impact that makes me confident of a successful championship campaign under his tutelage next season. I can’t believe even we would be so naive as to give him the opportunity.

If out fans are anything like our players, they’d miss the pitch with their throws. 😞

Can’t believe how easily people are giving up on us. Yes we’re absolute pants and likely to go down, but to throw kids in is just accepting that. I’d be gutted if we went that route. When it’s mathematically certain we’re down, then build for next year. For now, every effort to get the strongest and best equipped team on the pitch.
