With a likely points deduction, we may need to win 13 games …. out of the remaining 35. Better than one in three. I just don’t see us doing that with the ultra conservative starting elevens being selected . Cooper has won one of his last 16 PL fixtures, I think? Hugely alarming. We have to be more positive and daring. He seems to think our route to victory is to hang in there, and steal something at the end. Personally, I think that stinks. It will be a bitterly disappointing season if that mindset wins the day. Which might be all it wins. Change of approach urgently required.

Remember doing a summer job as a student at a place where he worked back on the 80s. He was as welcoming of an arrogant, opinionated student as anyone could ever be. A thoroughly good bloke who’s passion for footy was evident even then. 😞

My match summary:- First half - OMFG we are going to get battered. Second half - we can feckin’ do this !!!!! Overall? Two attacking signjngs away from having half a chance. Marvellous evening’s entertainment. 🙌
