Why are people picking the third choice keeper ahead of the second choice one who absolutely needs minutes?? 🤷The coaching team have already seen him and clearly think Begovic is better. Surely it makes sense therefore to get minutes into him?

Unpopular, (and unlikely), thought but depending on what levels of interest clubs are showing in our naughty step players, it might make sense to get minutes into Faes, Winks and Soumare, (is he still injured)? It gives wanted players a rest; showcases available players and - if worst comes to worst - gets them fitter should we end up having to play them. 🥴

I’m leaving him almost 70 minutes to make me look silly, but apart from some dancing feet in tight spaces, he’s offering virtually nothing. His lack of pace and strength are limiting issues. He might gain as he ages, but right now his influence is minimal. But he only gets better through game time. Tough call for the manager.

Aluko playing means he might get better. Thomas just won’t. The former can only exceed the latter with game-time. No-brainer for me. It’s not like it’s going to cost us promotion!

Impossible to find the right words, that aren’t expletives, for how awful that half was.

I remember clearly the excitement of going to Filbo in the late 70s. An excitement that was killed once the game commenced, as poor players utilised poor tactics on awful pitches. We looked every inch a delegation team and ended up clinging on with a ton of youngsters making debuts. It has that feel all over again. The football is as bad as I can recall in a long time. And whilst It’s certainly not all Marti’s fault, the buck stops with him as Top isn’t going to sack himself. He has to go and a small miracle needs to happen to revitalise a club that feels in steep decline. Tough times. It bejng a Fox isn’t a lifestyle choice - just but like learning to live with Tourette’s 😞
