  1. Thankfully; not many of them have to go that far. 🥴
  2. That is not the outcome I was expecting. Absolutely superb result. Hopefully, some confidence restored and we can build on this. 🤞
  3. Who’s the guy up front that looks a bit like Daka? 😍
  4. It was superb against Geordie Arabia last week.
  5. Possibly a tad too early? Wait until half-time and maybe try again, then? 👍
  6. I hate myself for agreeing with Sherwood. But I think he’s absolutely spot on. Come on, Ruud. Make me eat my catastrophic thoughts. 🙏🙏🙏
  7. Mac above Mav. Wow. 🥴🥴
  8. Everton, Palace, Ipswich and Southampton 😞😞😞
  9. What a fantastic set of draws. Best in years.
  10. You want us to play us?? 🤔
  11. Looking at how hard Ipswich worked last weekend and how hard Southampton worked tonight, we’ve got to match that. Every time I watch us I think we are the lowest intensity/energy team in the league. The manager has gone. It would seem some players have maybe got their wish? Now they need to step up to the plate and give it more than they have been doing. Significantly more.
  12. I wish him well. We looked dreadful during his stint here, but that can’t all be his fault. He leaves us with more points than I thought we’d have at this stage, too. Right decision to get rid, as performances have been dire, but he gave it a go and seems a decent bloke. Good luck to him.
  13. Sadly, to me it just feels like the same thing repeated ….. a depressing lack of leadership across the whole operation. 😞
  14. Our players train?! 😳
  15. Aberdare primarily.
  16. Always mean to ask you where you are. I spend a bit of time in Pen y Cymoedd region.
  17. I’m on a video conference and some mad Welsh bloke keeps sticking “Rudkin sacked” in the chat bar!?! 🤷
  18. Oh, I know the answer to this one …… it’s because I sleep better when I know Nige is at the club. 😍
  19. Pearson as DoF; Potter to take up the managerial reins. Please let all my Christmases come at once. 😍
  20. RVN has a Frank McLintock feel about it, to me. Both great players, but the novelty of that will wear off very quickly for our squad once the absence of tactical know-how becomes apparent, as I fear it will.
  21. I’m no expert on our under-the-bonnet stuff, but I’d suspect they spoke to our next manager during the international break and everyone was happy to wait until after the Chelsea game? Why would a new manager want to be under pressure after one very difficult fixture? Who knows.
  22. Not RVN. Feel that would be an equally huge mistake. Potter or Moyes would be an improvement. Although, to be fair, an aardvark would be an improvement.
  23. Impossible question to answer as they’re all very different strikers, with their own unique and world-class skill-set. What I do know is that England had prime Vardy and prime Kane and couldn’t find a way to have two of our biggest match-winners on the pitch at the same time. That was appalling management, Roy.
  24. Is there any information for ordinary fans?
  25. Comfortably the best match day experience of the season, for me. I woke early, completed Christmas shopping before the crowds descended, got home and had a lovely breakfast, wrapped said prezzies with some beautiful Christmas choral music and a glass of wine. Now have feet up watching an old film. I have the feeling that this might be the best way forward under Cooper - so I thank him bringing back the ‘I find it hard or give a feck’ mindset. Cheers Super Steve.
