Just switched over to the Denmark game and the first thing I hear from the commentator is “Vestergaard has been absolutely colossal tonight” -
What about having a current one?

Don’t worry lads, forget the points deduction- I’ll have an El Classico bidding war started by Friday.
-
Get Wout with puns like that 😂
-
Seeing lots of rumours online that Barcelona are lining up a bid for Wout. In my opinion, would be a great bit of business if we could make it happen before the months end.

And the Rye is gray…

Martin O’Neil, Wes Morgan, Stan Collymore… we learn to love them in the end. Can’t believe anyone gets upset by this…

We’ve played both Monaco and PSG fairly recently in pre season.

Is the full Theate available? Or can we only afford half with budget restrictions.
-
I’m with you, I think this will prove to be a very good appointment.

Welcome Steve, Some of us are excited to see what you can achieve this season. To the rest… ”Through the good times and the bad, we always back the lads”

Am I the only one, given the three options that would have gone for Cooper? Whilst, I don’t think he’s the perfect manager to get us moving forward and back challenging at the top end, I do think he’s the perfect manager for what we need right now. Give him two seasons, develop some of our strong youth players, keep us in the league and then say thank you and move on.
-
What has Potter actually done in the game to make everyone so excited by him? I’d say Cooper has a far better CV and is a better manager, but I haven’t followed either career closely. Cooper has won the U17 World Cup and got Forest from bottom of the league to winning the play offs. Not sure if Potter’s actually done anything of note.

Wonder if he’s going to focus on his management career… 👀

Because they love us to sing their favourite Christmas carol to them

At this stage, just give him the first team manager role! -
Come on Slovakia!

The closer it gets to the end of the month, the more I’m convinced there will be zero money spent before June 30th, including on the search for a new manager.

If nothing else, it should get us a few young lads off to Birmingham on loan next season surely. -

To be fair, not many teams end up playing more than 1 of the other big sides in a major tournament. Look at Argentina in the last World Cup a group of: Poland, Mexico and Saudi Arabia (who they lost to) then Australia, Netherlands and Croatia to make the final against France. If you are one of the top 8 teams in the world, then you generally get a pretty comfortable group, followed by a group runner up in the last 16. It’s the same for everyone. It’s not until you get to the last 8 you might start meeting the big sides. The more they expand these tournaments, the easier the group stage opposition will be. -

Classic first game of a tournament. Getting the first win on the board is all that really matters. On to Janik and the gang and get through to the big games. -

Let’s hope he wins more than his bus fare home -
I think he’ll move to Italy and have a really good career at a top Italian club. People on here will talk about him like he was the one who got away, and when he gets nominated for the ballon d’or others will be quick to forget everything he’s done successfully in the game and talk about how he was shit away at QPR 10 years ago.
