  1. Everton (H) opening day Liverpool (a) boxing day West Ham (a) final day of the season
  2. Start with a couple of cans of Tenants Super Strength follow this up with a couple of large Scotch and Iron Brus. You’ll be fine
  3. Same vibes…
  4. Nah he’s decided to go with his new moto; City’s Unbeatable Natural Tactics.
  5. Friday morning UK time 👀 No offical word on the lectern at this stage, representatives from the club considering a FoxesTalk poll to determine if it’s required.
  6. Does Wellens accept full responsibility for everything that has happened to the club since he first signed?
  7. Yes, and will be announced as new first team head coach on Friday morning.
  8. Joe Hart retired at the end of last season, Celtic need a new Keeper - come on Brendan, you know it makes sense.
  9. I love looking at the odds and then seeing all the bullshit that gets written in the papers and online. I think it would be funny to pick a random person, who would never be in contention for the job and then, all ask the bookies for the odds. Place a couple of quid bets here and there and then watch the odds tumble. With the manager market it really doesn’t take a big bet to bring the odds right down. So if you’re bored today, contact your local bookie and ask for the odds on Robbie Savage becoming the next LCFC manager, tell them you’ve had a tip. If you’ve got a couple of quid to throw away for giggles put it on and see what happens to the odds
  10. Hi
  11. Isn’t he originally from Enderby?
  12. Do you have a plan B? How white are your trainers? How do you react when the fans turn on you after another defeat? (FOAD is the only acceptable answer here)
  13. To be fair he’s coming up against Tyler Blackett today… I predict big things for this young lad. Can’t see how Vardy will get anything from him this afternoon.
  14. Andy King has to replace Petty. Come on Top make it happen
  15. Cooper for me, is the right choice for right now. For a starters, he’s free and relatively low cost compared to some of the alternatives- and regardless of what you think that’s important. Is he the man to get us challenging at the top end of the table again, probably not, but is he a man who can keep us in the division- absolutely he is. His knowledge of, and ability to get the best out of young players is something that is going to be crucial whilst we ride the financial wave we are currently in, and good management of young players and the ability to go back to turning a profit on low cost players is what we need to start moving forwards again. Cooper is the perfect man for the next two years whilst we get back on our feet as a football club, before the reigns get handed over to the person who can then start moving us back toward the top half again. Its a process, and right now we need the bloke who can keep us a float and give us the stability before we can stand on our own feet and start running again. For me, Cooper is the best option for right now.
  16. The club currently hold his registration card, and will not let him go unless Mansfield stump up £25 to take the card. Sources close to the club inform me The Stags have no interest in a digital registration.
  17. Champions League
  18. Because he was lied to and misled by the board - not the first manager to come out and say this. No matter what you think of Enzo or Rodgers they’ve both told a similar story and have been made to look like twats when they are negotiating with players, only to be told late on actually there is no money. We’ve got a a massive issue at board level, and this will continue to happen to other managers unless something changes.
  19. He is the sort of player who could go to the Euros and string 2 or 3 quality games together. Especially against the likes of Romania and Slovakia - that could tempt the stupid money from a Man Utd type team with cash and looking to build. Happens every major tournament, an average player strings a run of games together and gets a big money move. Just need to lock it in as early as possible.
  20. Room for one more?
  21. Maybe not, they were just the examples we used for the discussion we had today. The question really is, as a football fan who goes to games - do you just want success and to win the league and you don’t care how boring the journey is, or do you want to be entertained, even if you don’t win anything?
  22. So this follows on from a Sunday afternoon pub conversation. You are a season ticket holder, go every week home and away to follow your team. Would you rather your team played like George Graham’s Arsenal - turgid football, men behind the ball, boring to watch, but lots of 1-0 wins and ultimately successful and you win the league or Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle - fast attacking football, lots of goals, a you score 3, we’ll score 4 type philosophy… but come what May you’re trophyless and finished 2nd. It comes down to winning with boring football or falling short with fast exciting football?
  23. I heard Jose get mentioned around a bit before, but he’s just signed a 2 year deal at Fenerbahce so we cross that name off the list - not that it was ever a serious name.
  24. I should have read this before I made my post, it’s exactly how I feel about the whole situation.
