I remember doing my referees course 20 odd years ago and one of the things they drilled into us then was: it’s fine to make a mistake not seeing something, you can’t make a mistake giving something you haven’t seen. To give that offside he has to be100% certain that a Leicester player has played the ball, he can’t so has guessed and got it wrong - that’s a terrible error. Twice this season we’ve had 1st v 2nd games and whilst 1-0 up in both we’ve had horrible decisions go against us that would have killed both games. It’s becoming beyond a joke.

Tonight bar the finishing, and some horrendous refereeing was the reason we are the best team in this league. On another day that’s 4-0 us and no one says it flattered us. We will use this, like the Arsenal defeat in 15/16 and will go on and win every remaining game this season.

They don’t have enough, because we play with one striker and they have all had a run in the team - Daka 12 games 7 goals, Vardy 23 games 10 goals. Multiply these out over the season and they are all very good records. We have a combined 24 goals so far this season from the player playing in that role . We just rotate more than any other team.

Yes he missed a great chance tonight, but other than that he was close to man of the match. An assist and a perfectly good goal ruled out! He was key to so much of what went well tonight.

Daka has 7 in his last 10, Vardy has 5 in his last 5… it’s not too bad. Daka missed a good chance tonight, but also produced a great finish that was incorrectly ruled out.

Only player to play every game this season and he looked exhausted out there even early in the first half. Needs a week off imo

We were by far the better team, terrible officiating has cost us again in a big game. At 2-0 that’s game over. Shocking finishing too, only thing worse tonight was the amount of melts in the match thread who appear to take joy from us losing and conceding goals. A big moment in our season, we don’t lose another game from here.

Pawson is doing odd Pawson things… Only slight concern is Mavididi looks exhausted and isn’t making the most of the balls coming his way. Huge 2nd 45 coming up
