I had no doubt he was on 60k in the PL with his previous deal, as I heard it from several sources; I was also told he didn't have a relegation clause. I'd imagine the new deal was we would give you four years as long as you were willing to accept a decent reduction in annual salary. He has a promotion pay raise in his new deal, but I think it unlikely he will be back on the money of his old deal.

So our 23/24 account would be the lost prize money for finishing 1 or 2nd, which is peanut. The impact on the 24/25 accounts would be mitigated by all of the players out of contract and the sale of KDH and year 2 parachute money. Not sure it's an issue as long as we meet FFP for the 23/24 period, which the club will have a very good idea whether they will or not.

If anything the game against Bournemouth helped, nice confidence booster especially amongst the fab base.
