@StriderHiryu all good points, I think we need to take a few risk on promising players who can grow in the 5m-10m bracket. A bit like Fatawu deal (if we achieve the conditions to make it a permanent). We are still in the process of a massive rebuild, we are likely to lose Ndidi, Nacho, Praet and maybe Vestergaard on a free. Doyle and Casadei will probably return to their parent clubs. So if we go up we probably need at least CB x 2, 8 x 2 (Maybe 3 as they are massively important in Enzos system) CF (Maybe 2 if Daka leaves) and probably a wide player. You could also say we need a Winks understudy. That's a serious shopping list, we are going to need to find a couple of cheap rough diamonds.

I thought all the promoted side had pretty poor summer windows. Luton had a very low starting point squad wise, and spent 20m. Sheff Utd sold there best two player and then spent 60m but only a net spend of 30m Burnley had a odd window they failed to sign up 3 of their best players who were on loan TBH, Maatsen and Tella. Spent a decent amount but brought poorly in much view. I think none of them have our profile, which will attract a better calibre of player, I think we will be viewed as a PL who had a season blip rather than a normal promoted team. We have also clear the deck of all out really hight earners especially if the likes of Vardy, Ndidi and Nacho don't resign, I think we will be willing to pay higher wages. I also have a feeling we will spend a decent amount as I don't think Top will want us to risk going down again.
