We really haven't
-
Really not sure of Ricardo at 8.
-
Hopefully Nacho proves me wrong, but over the last few games him and Vardy have offered nothing.
-
Would take a draw.
-
True, but with Afcon around the corner Cannon is going to need minutes before Xmas. We need he match fit and ready to go. Som youthful energy would be useful at times.
-
His passing is great, but he's also a brilliant keeper, which is refreshing.

If you are concerned about insecurity, It is interesting you are digging out the people replying rather than the person who feels the need to come on another forum and prove how good his team is.......

Take away August and we have still won more game, scored more goals and conceded less goals, drop less points then the Leeds galacticos. Never need to ask a Leeds fan how great they are, they froth at the mouth to tell you. If you have to go around telling everyone how great you are, how big a club you are, in generally means you aren't. Bless em....

Must be the first time ever at the same time.

I'm not having those two are quicker then KDH

Well done, Willie.

This summer will see a continuation of a massive turnover of players, and I can see why the club tied down Hamza for some continuity in the squad; I see having a core of local lads as a positive. We have 8 players out of contract in the summer: Smithies, Vestergaard, Ndidi, Praet, Albrighton, Wanya Marçal, Iheanacho and Vardy, I would imagine 3 will definitely leave: Smithies, Praet, and Albrighton. I would also think the club may offer a new contract to the other 5, but it is not a given that they will sign, and I can see the majority leaving. We then have a group that is most likely going to be moved on by the club: Ward, Iversen, Daka, Souttar, Soumare, Kristiansen and Thomas, if we can do deals. We also have 4 loan players Akgun, Cascadi, Doyle and Fatawu. The likelihood we sign 2 of the 4 as we have obligations if we are promoted on Fatawu and Akgun. So, at the moment, it's looking like we have 14 players who are more than likely going to be here next season: McAteer, Stolarczyk, Coady, Justin, Pereira, Winks, Faes, Choudhury, Dewsbury-Hall, Hermansen, Mavididi, Cannon, Akgün. and Fatawu. If none of the out-of-contract players resigns and we clear the deadwood, we are looking at around 11 incoming players, which is a massive turnover that, if we are in the PL, will come at a cost as we will need some real quality. I can see why the club needs to balance the squad with a few cheap options like extending Hamza and, more than likely, introducing Alves and Braybrooke when fit. If all of the deadwood and out-of-contract players leave, only 4 first-team players, Faes, Justin, Dewsbury-Hall, Pereira and Choudhury (Who was on loan at Watford), will remain for the relegation season. Currently, the club has around 40m of transfer amortisation on the books, which should drop to around 30m in the summer (if we make no signings this winter) compared to its high point of 60m from 2020 to 2023. I assume the club will not want to hit that level of transfer amortisation again. If you are dishing out 5-year contracts for every 50m you spend on players, it adds 10m to our transfer amortisation; that figure goes up or down with longer or shorter contracts. Another way to decrease amortisation is to offer new contracts to existing players, as the remaining book value of their transfer can be divided throughout the new contract, for example, Faes's transfer fee current amortisation is 3m per annum. If we gave him a new 4-year contract in the summer, the remaining value of his transfer would be re-amortised over the 4 years, so the 9m that remains is divided by 4 rather than 3, which reduces the annual amortisation from 3m to 2.25m. So after a lot of waffle, I think from an FFP point of view we could easily spend 50m-75m next summer if we have the cash flow as we will have plenty of gap on transfer amortisation and wages.

Here 7 seasons had a handful of decent games and people still can't let guy go. Guy hated that much he signed a new contract Another player who was playing for the club for the wrong reason.
-
He's 19 and seen as one of Italy top talents they have brought on potential.
-
€17m I've seen quoted and €10m for Yunus.

Winks will still be a virtual part. No chance we are going to have the money to patch all the holes in the squad. If Ndidi and Nacho don't resign we need a minimum a CF, no 8 and a LCB, that's 40m to 60m gone. We also have a obligation to buy Futuwa and Akgun if we go up and they play enough games. If you believe the figures quoted that already 23m committed as well. So I don't see us looking to replace Winks.
-
Swings and round abouts. They should have been down to 10 men the game before. Luck has a habit of evening itself out.
-
All side will be feeling the strain Championship is relentless.
-
Convinced we will dip into the market and bring in a couple.
-
Back pocket change, considering he was reportedly on 120k basic a week at Chelsea for five years. That's 31m before stoppages.
-
Even if Leeds won their next 10, we would have to take less than 1.9 pts a game for them to be level. So we would have to have a worse record than 6 wins, 1 Draw, and 3 losses and they would need to win 10

A third of the season gone - your thoughts?

Can't play well in every game over a 46 game season. The is a lot of merit in playing average and winning. -
Wishing Kasper Schmeichel a happy birthday 🎂

We talk about Mahrez and Vardy be bargains. But Kasper for a 1m, which works our around £2415 a game. Legend. Out of the guys who won the PL and FA Cup he's probably the only one who played a significant part in both. -
Like we did against Sunderland with Casadei
