  1. I suspect we've already eaten into most of that with our summer signings and sacking Cooper and his staff, which will all be in the 24/25 accounting period, without any player sales (yet) to offset it. Now the club could bank on the fact that if we go down we can sell an asset like Mads, but it's a huge risk. Even if there is interest we might not get it done before June 30th.
  2. It isn’t solved, the PL are/could appeal it, which may be what’s preventing a 23/24 charge.
  3. That article seems to suggest that no new charge can be brought against us whilst the 22/23 legal case is still on going, so we might have breached for 23/24 after all?
  4. I don't think it means that. It means there are no charges today because we didn't breach PSR.
  5. I doubt we'll still be able to spend much, as this seasons accounts will be very tight. We had an expensive outlay of transfers after July 1st, without much the other way.
  6. You can already see in this thread that a fair amount of the anger is being loaded and pointed towards the Premier League and the rules itself, rather than the club. The club will lean into that narrative and I think a lot of fans will suck it up.
  7. The recruitment team reports into Rudkin, so ultimately he is culpable. Poor recruitment has been a problem for a long time, even with various different Heads of Recruitment. Also, it's not just about singings. It's about sales (and lack of them). It's about unwarranted long, expensive contracts for average or poor players. It's about a lack joined-up thinking in regards to the footballing direction of the club. It's about flitting from Rodgers, to Smith (and nearly Marsch), to Maresca, to Cooper, to RvN. It's about a total and utter lack of any communication. I could go on. It's not all about Rudkin though, it's the entire club. The problem for Rudkin is that most fans feel very uncomfortable being vocally critical about King Power or Top, so he's getting the full brunt.
  8. Glad we are building all this confidence.
  9. There is only so much confidence that you can gain from beating QPR, whereas fatigue and injuries don’t care who you are playing.
  10. What a really stupid thing to do when we have two massive PL matches coming up in the next few days.
  11. I appreciate there are some grey areas with what counts towards PSR, but the club have all of the numbers at hand and they will have known since July whether or not we have breached. If we have breached, it makes the expensive crusade to dodge our 22/23 charge even more naive. We might as well have taken both points deductions this season, signed players in preparation for the Championship and then started next season with no points deduction. The whole thing is a catastrophic mess. The fact that the club seem to be frustrated with the Premier League for punishing them for trying to compete with the top 6 tells you all you need to know. You can say what you like about the fairness of PSR, but the rules haven't changed, this hasn't been sprung on them. The club knew the risks of what they were doing and they've got pretty much all of the big decisions wrong along the way. Removing Rudkin alone won't solve this, a lot of this comes from Top and Whelan as well. Unfortunately the incompetence and disregard runs deep in every area of the club. King Power Out.
  12. Forest got 6 points, as it was their first offence, but it was lowered to 4 points because they self reported and co-operated fully.
  13. Ipswich only have an allowable loss of £39M because they have 2 Championship seasons and 1 League One season in their three-year period. During that time they would have had two lots of promotion bonuses to deal with as well.
  14. My prediction is that we have breached and the club have known that since the summer, however they will release a strongly worded statement denying it, with the aim of turning the fans against the Premier League and not the club. It's what they do.
  15. Everton's second deduction was lower because they took into account that they had already been punished for 2 out of the 3 years. We don't have that luxury.
  16. Can’t stop the rot.
  17. There is some inside knowledge at times, but it is mostly guesswork, based on media reports and anything that’s exposed via accounts.
  18. If we have breached again, then that’s it for me in regards to supporting this ownership in any shape or form. On the bright side, if you can call it that, if we are going down anyway then it might not be the worst thing to get a hefty points deduction this season, as it might lessen the punishment from the EFL next season, in the same way Everton only got 2 points for their second breach.
  19. Brilliant in possession today, but the first goal comes about because he’s switched off. The problem we have is that he gives us so much in possession, especially with BEK and Buonanotte around him, but most matches we concede a goal because he’s switched off and not tracked or marked a man.
  20. The problems are too engrained, the personnel are too close. I think only a change of ownership will stand a chance of working.
  21. I have some sympathy for RVN, even though I’m still convinced we hired him just because he was the in-vogue and cheap option. A lot of these players shouldn’t even be at the football club. That back 5 (apart from Coady) got us relegated. Soumare has proven time and time again that he’s a liability protecting the defence. Ayew and Skipp brain-dead signings. Of course RVN has other options, but the real failure here is a top to bottom failure of running a football club. King Power out? I think it’s the only way.
  22. Still playing Danny Ward, in the Premier League, when it’s nearly 2025. Still relying, for the most part, on the defensive players that got us relegated. Giving Hamza Choudhury a new contract. Giving Jannick Vestergaard a new contract. Signing Oliver Skipp for £25M. These aren’t the only reasons we got well beat yesterday, but they played a big part. We are swimming against a heavy tide when these are the kinds of decisions that the club continues to make.
  23. Was that a “We want Rudkin out” I heard?
  24. I’ve been watching Soumare all match and it takes him 5 seconds to realise he might need to press or track.
