Not keen, but if he were to come in and do a Puel-style hatchet job, and purge the squad of freeloading has-beens, then maybe on a short-term basis it wouldn't be the worst thing. I don't rate RvN, and I hope he's off once the season is done (he's clearly not going before is he?) but it says it all that no-one has even bothered to engage in dialogue with him and let him know where he stands. I'm really pleased for Harry Kane that he now has a winners medal. Seems like a good bloke to me and I'm pleased that he finally has something to show for what's been a really good career.

I was really excited when we signed him, but it was pretty clear early on that he doesn't have the physicality or the technique for English football. Never has, never will. Might be good in a less demanding league like the Bundesliga or the Eredivisie.

Mixed feelings on this. I'd love Bilal to stay and rip-up the Championship, but if we're going to be a well-run club again, then we probably need to go back to our model of selling an asset each summer. That said, if we can somehow get rid of the (piles of) deadwood, and save some serious wages - it would be great to keep him.
