  1. If we are going to be anywhere near making a promotion push (which is far from a given), Leeds being promoted this season is a good thing for us. With the resources their owners are putting in, they'll only be stronger next season anyway.
  2. My phone just sent me this push notification. Can you spot the mistake?
  3. Hats off to you for trying to do something about it. I'd be willing to bet that the majority of those making snide / mocking / dismissive comments have done precisely **** all to try and improve the situation. I might not always agree with all of FT's actions but respect for at least putting in the effort to try and make a difference
  4. In that case, I'd say that obviously Winks is in the wrong - especially if it's a promise he made to the club. That said, could this not have waited until the summer? Would it not have been better to have one of our better players onside for the run-in before giving him an ultimatum in the summer? Surely then would be the time to see "look, you either commit, or you find yourself a new club closer to home." Obviously hindsight is always a wonderful thing, but was now a great time to make this issue a really big issue?
  5. As I said, I don't want to see either of them at the club next season. That said, I would say that this wasn't an issue last season when we were doing okay, and it wouldn't be a problem now if we had secured safety. It's a bit of a red herring, imho.
  6. Would be a but of a tragedy if that was his last game for us. I hope he stays on. I think it's difficult to judge him on this season, playing in team that regularly has an XG of around 0.05. He's never been one to create his own chances. I genuinely think someone of Mo Salah's calibre (just for example) would struggle to score in a team with an attack as consistently pathetic as ours.
  7. Even when I try and be objective (which isn't easy), I genuinely cannot think of a single valid reason to keep him at the club any longer.
  8. That's what I think, too. Winks by no means blameless, but just looks a pathetic and ill-timed attempt by Ruud to try and exert some sort of authority. Either that or Ruud has tried to make it look like our issues are down to attitude rather than his pathetic tactics. That said, I don't want to see either of them at the club next season.
  9. You do realise that this renewal of the squad and the ethos the club that we'd all like to see isn't going to happen while we have Rudkin running the show, right? Getting rid of the high earners, getting in young and hungry players, reducing the wage bill.......none of that is happening with a specialist in failure as our DofF. Without structural change, the type of club most fans would like to see just isn't ever going to happen. It's pretty obvious we need to drain the swamp, but we need someone with the nouse to make that actually happen, and Rudkin has proven time and time again he does not have the vision or the skill to make it happen. He's a terrible judge of talent, and an even worse negotiator. We might get rid of a bit of deadwood by default but we all know there will be plenty of it left next season. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if most of the likes of Daka, Vestergaard, Faes, Coady, VK, BDCR, Soumare and Ayew* etc are all here at the start of next season, bleeding the club dry for another season. *All players signed or offered new deals under Rudkin's watch, I hasten to add.
  10. He'll have a career in the media, but hasn't got much to offer as a footballer anymore. He's barely mobile.
  11. I hope you're right, but I think we both know that Rudkin will be here next season; doing a laughably bad job and getting away with it for another season.
  12. Along with Teflon John, Top and KP have created this culture of failure. I just can't get my head round the lack of accountability at all levels. I can only hope that failure is so wilfully accepted by KP as a wider business, because it won't be very successful for very long if Top runs the KP conglomerate in the amateurish way he does the club. I just cannot understand how he sits next Rudkin, looking pretty contented when the guy on his right hand side has run the club into the ground. Top, Rudkin and Van Nistelrooy - it's like we've finally achieved the holy trinity of total incompetence. Says a lot that the only debate seems to be who is the most shit of the 3.
  13. He looks like he's getting his confidence back a bit after a couple of difficult years. I'd like to see him become a mainstay for us in the Championship. Should be more than good enough in the second tier.
  14. That act at the end of the game wasn't very convincing anyway was it? Didn't look particularly devastated to me. I think you can tell quite easily if a player is genuinely gutted or not.
  15. All smiles with the Nepo Baby. This useless twat is going to be kept on to make us even worse isn't he? How anyone this objectively poor at their job can just carry on failing....I just can't get my head round it.
  16. Hopefully today was the last time we ever have to watch him in a Leicester shirt ever again.
  17. They should be grateful for only losing 35% of their wages
  18. 9 games without scoring a goal. How can he keep his job?
  19. I hope so. Hopefully we never see this twat ever again at the KP, in any capacity.
  20. Laughing and joking with the Liverpool boys. **** off you absolute ****ing ****.
  21. Anyone who stays to applaud this lot is a ****ing moron.
  22. Top and John all smiles. Having a great day out.
  23. RVN preparing to bring on a couple of defenders is he?
