Look at what's happened at Luton when they kept Edwards for too long.....and he's actually achieved something with the club -

Who even cares? I'm convinced we're even worse Southampton. They'll win 0-2. -

Interesting how many players aren't playing because they don't want to get injured before they lea....sorry, I meant are genuinely injured. -
Not for me. Unless he's obsessed with possession football at all costs and encourages defenders to keep passing it between themselves until they lose the ball and concede....I'm not interested.

The 'be careful what you wish for' brigade make me laugh. I'm guessing their argument is that new ownership might mean turmoil, financial insecurity, a loss of club identity, poor recruitment, a managerial merry-go-round, or perhaps an uncertain future. God forbid - they may even appoint unqualified stooges to key positions ......... ........and yet still the penny hasn't dropped.

The way the club is being run should put a stop to that. The promotion part, anyway

I'd recommend going to watch non league football mate. I've been to Harborough Town a handful times since I moved here a couple of months ago, and it's bloody brilliant. Football as it should be. Players aren't constantly throwing themselves to the floor, there's no tika taka, very little tactical fouling. Just really enjoyable. Planning on getting a season ticket there next season. I find it difficult to watch LCFC knowing that the club is rotting from the inside. I also find top flight football increasingly dull.

Pathetic atmosphere tonight, couldn't believe what I was(n't) hearing. Also, Arteta doesn't have a great bench to choose from, but never even tried to do anything different tactically. Easy for PSG.

If that's a foul, we can all go home.

Been thinking about this a lot and I've come up with this shortlist: - not Russell Martin
-
Of course he's a white Range Rover driver, too. That makes a lot of sense

Worst thing you've done in a job without being sacked?

At the start of my teaching career I was summoned to the Principal's office. I was told not to worry about it, however a student had accused me of calling him a ****. The Principal told me that I didn't need to panic as the lad had a long history of making false accusations about staff and was in the process of being permanently excluded anyway as he had made a really serious claim about another teacher that had proven to be a total fabrication. He was permanently excluded the next week For clarification, I absolutely did call him a stupid ****. It was one of those rare moments where the filter between brain and mouth failed completely, and I was so agitated with this kid, that it just came out and one of his mates heard it....turns out it was not as 'under my breath' as I would have hoped. Absolutely no regrets btw. This lad went on to commit some pretty grim crimes as an adult. So if anything, I was right about him being a ****. -
When are we going to learn our lesson with Southampton rejects? It's absolutely laughable

El Assico? -
Totally agree. It was absolutely disgusting tonight. I honestly thought the ref was on the verge of having a meltdown at times.

I genuinely believe that some of our fans have a better knowledge of players, and better appreciation of what we need than the club does. A few years ago, I'd have laughed at any poster saying this. Now, I think the club are so clueless, I think it might actually be true. Not too many of the knowledgeable fans in this thread were suggesting Oliver Skipp for £25m, or Jordan Ayew for £5m for example.

Cooper was a terrible choice and a really poor manager. RvN is an even worse choice and a desperately poor manager. I'm not sure what there is to argue about? Both disastrous choices by Top and Teflon John

Really felt for the referee. The guy looked so stressed at times. After everything he went through in the build up, as well. Thought he did a good job under massive pressure. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cy8q1l6v78lo

Ha ha! Love to see Real lose. Even better seeing Rudiger lose his shit completely Bellingham throwing his toys out the pram. I'm here for it.
