  1. Daka versus Leeds at Elland Road a couple of seasons back. We played pretty well but he missed a couple of chances where it was easier to score.
  2. Based on the fact we have the grand total of zero decent strikers, I'd take him back on a 1 year deal on lower wages.
  3. Gary Taylor Fletcher
  4. Who do you reckon his 'PL replacement on a free' is? Craig Dawson?
  5. I think we'll need to bring someone in. The current leadership options are weak, to put it politely.
  6. Good stuff as always, mate. Keep up the good work
  7. Not many people know this, but the K in KBet actually stands for K%^t. They're quite open about this.
  8. Good luck, Marti - you'll need it. Not sure what to make of this appointment, if I'm honest. Hopefully, he'll be great. Speaks well.
  9. Who joins this summer is going to be interesting. On the face of it, it seems we're increasingly at the mercy of Wasserman. To be dictated to by an agency just seems like the logical next step down in our race to the bottom.
  10. Interestingly, this person isn't a Leicester fan, so wasn't really aware of the warning signs we've seen (e.g. the Sensi situation you mentioned), they were talking about these events in isolation- but it does bulld a picture when you look at everything that's gone on these past few years. It'll come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that Dyche is apparently a very black and white character, and after a few face to face meetings with the club, he felt he wasn't sure what he'd be signing up for.
  11. Yes, mate. I don't disagree with anything you've said there. I'm just relaying one side of the events. As you say, the lack of a straight answer, that could be interpreted a few different ways.
  12. I'm not one to make stuff up for attention, but I thought it was worth sharing this. As I've said before, I know a member of Shaun Dyche's family, and it was them who told me he was really keen on the job before RvN got the sack. I saw that person again last night and obviously we chatted about it. They told me that the club initially wanted Dyche and made the right noises. However, negotiations dragged on and then subsequently broke down over three things 1) SD and the club couldn't agree terms, what he was offered was less than he earned at Everton, and he feels he's no worse a manager than he was. 2) Dyche, Stone and Woan are a trio and they come as a package, (they even own properties in Spain and Portugal together). Anyways, LCFC were less keen on these two and apparently they were made to wait for an offer, and when it did finally come, they were offered a lot less, borderline derisory offers. 3)...and most interestingly for me, apparently Dyche got increasingly frustrated with the lack of clear answers when asking about recruitment budgets etc, to the point where he felt he had no idea what the real picture is, so negotiations ended after a number of weeks. As you can imagine, from being really keen initially, it dragged on to the point he felt it wasn't worth it. I have no interest in making up rumours to look ITK. This just happens to be a very rare occasion where I know someone who knows someone involved. I believe what they've told me to be true.
  13. This is a pretty fair analysis, I'd say.
  14. Could be a key signing for Wasserman & King Power FC
  15. Has it finished yet?
  16. Always looks like he's playing football for the first time. I'll hold my hands up, I thought it was a real coup when we bought him. I thought he'd be great. He's bloody awful
  17. What's going to be his chant then? It's going to end up being Seven Nation Army isn't it? "Ooooh Marti Cifuuuueeentes'
  18. I'm not saying they're all going to be world beaters, I'm saying I think the majority of fans would be supportive if the likes of Monga, Nelson, Alves etc were given opportunities over the absolute wasters we've had playing for the club
  19. Absolutely, but I think it would help - a lot
  20. If the club are brave enough to give these youngsters a chance, I think some of the goodwill the club have drained out of the fanbase could be restored almost instantly. I could happily live with not competing for automatic promotion if we had a young and hungry team fighting for the club. If you're good enough, you're old enough and a few of these lads look miles better than these overpaid dickheads who've got us relegated again. *this was meant to just go in the match thread but I ****ed that right up 'vxxxxjjhfheehddjdod' wasn't a great title thread.
