  1. Jordan Henderson player manager, get it done
  2. Legend. Thanks for the memories
  3. I thought this was a wind up. 3 years Just waiting for Ryan Bertrand to be announced
  4. I reckon we should just make him manager as well, will be interesting to say the least
  5. Not going to happen but would love Smith-Rowe her next season
  6. I know there's no loyalty in football, but jumping ship after your first season when you've been given the opportunity to manage shows the sort of man he is. Saying that I wasn't a fan anyway, possibly peaked in his career after 7 months with us limping over the line. Time will tell is he's a great manager or whether we've actually got a good deal here
  7. Get Junior Lewis in, he'll have learnt a lot working under Peter Taylor
  8. He can't manage in the Premier League though. My mates a Norwich season ticket holder reckons he's great in the Championship, pants in the Prem
  9. Realistically we need someone who's prepared to build and manage us in the Championship the following season as it's looking like a tough ask with the points deduction. Some of the names mentioned won't want to do that, so i reckon it's a pretty limited choice
  10. Steve Walsh for me as a kid growing up.
  11. If we get £10m for him that's a good deal. There's half a chance he's peaked already. Plus £10m helps us with FFP. I can't see his style of play keeping us up next season, but there's a chance he might excel at a top club. I'm not exactly gutted he's leaving, which says a lot
  12. Best striker we've signed since Vardy, sadly not better than Vardy. Never cemented his place in the team. The amount of money we've spunked up the wall to replace a £1million signing from Fleetwood is ridiculous. Hopefully moves abroad for regular game time
  13. True Leicester Legend Hope he still stays in the game, massive part of our success.
  14. I've never heard him speak, so can't comment
  15. Problem is the £30m shows as income in that financial year. Whereas what we spend can be spread across the contract term, so £25m over a 5 year contract is £5m per year
  16. Never boring supporting Leicester
  17. Get Willie Kirk in, he'll stick it up the players
  18. Literally 1 dimensional management.
  19. I've never taken to him, nor did I with Rodgers. I think I'm old school though, tend to prefer managers we've had in the past in the O'Neill, Little and Pearson mould. Find the new ones a little boring nowadays, wouldn't want to be stuck at a dinner table with them or have them backing you up in a fight.
  20. Ferrari doing better on deadline day than us
  21. 2023-2024 Leicester Salaries and Contracts | Capology: Football Salaries & Finances Championship Salary & Wage Data (England) | FootyStats
  22. Our wage bill is 4 x the average championship wage bill and in the top 30 in Europe. It's possibly the highest wage bill ever in the championship. So they can't really do a lot without moving people out
  23. Probably all of the above. Sort of reminds me of the Man U era under Fergie, fans would turn up expect the win and want to be entertained. We've become accustomed to that in a short space of time with Enzo. I'd class myself as an older supporter and some of my favourite time were the Little, O'Neill and Pearson eras. You know those teams would fight and battle to get a result, they could play the 2nd place team in the table and get 2 draws and we would be happy with that knowing the team had given their all no matter what. This year it feels more like a don't cock it up scenario when we've played Ipswich and we feel we've thrown points away. The trying to keep it at the back puts fans on edge. Shows you what a tough job Enzo as had from the start here, hats off to him really for delivering so far
  24. I think the frustration last night was there were several balls on due to Swansea playing such a high line and we went either backwards or sidewards or just picked the wrong pass. The first goal was testament to how we could have played through them a little better. I get Enzo has his style, but sometimes the game is crying out to be played a little differently. Mavadidi was getting really frustrated in the 2nd half in front of us, as he kept making runs in behind and the ball just wasn't being played. So it wasn't just the fans
