Having lived there for 4 years and watched pretty much every Alianza home game, I can assure you that Paddington is worth a shout. The rest, not so much.
-
Yep, I know it's not the same but I'll be up at 3am here in Hong Kong watching the game on a duff stream. If we win, work on almost no sleep will be a breeze, if not it'll be torture.

School Team - Early Football memories

Back in the '80s I played in goal for Lansdowne GEC and Oadby Owls, also Abington (runners up in the County 7-a-side) and Guthlaxton, though there was a good keeper there, so I didn't get much of a look in. -

Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.

We need Philip Seymour Hoffman in Along Came Polly. (My wife made me watch it honest). -
Mate, I think you're talking WKRP. He's not actively trying to be sacked, he's just run his course and it's time for him to move on.

One paced, not enough energy and effort. Fooking boring to watch too. Time for a change. Make it so, Top.

Forest player moved into Antonio's path. Really getting fed up with footy.

Nov 1984. 2-3 loss to Man Utd, 24,000 in Filbert Street.

Saw a lot of him through 2019 when I was living in Lima (used to go to Alianza games). He's decent enough but I'm not convinced he's of the standard we'll be wanting.

The Leicester Perception whilst on your travels

Leicester very popular in Zanzibar. Took a bunch of selfies with several somewhat confused locals in Leicester tops, plus 13 eluded my grasp! Classic bit of Vardy graffiti attached, taken in Stone Town. -
I once flew from Vietnam to the UK and bought a shirt from the fanstore and then, after my holiday, flew back to Vietnam. The shirt was made in Vietnam and so had done the same trip. Mad!

Time for a change. I'm bored watching us.

It's symbolic of the entitlement.

Definitely giving them a game, now. Just Thomas's aberration set us back.

They can't or they may face 15 years in prison. I'm a teacher and we can't even talk about any of it in school due to the possible consequences. I'll tell you what though, I was speaking to a colleague who was in tears as she couldn't see what future her children might have due to the regime in Russia.

You keep posting stuff like this. It's very blinkered. I have many Russian friends and colleagues, having worked there for the last 2 years. What is happening in Ukraine does not represent them but they are frightened of recriminations should they protest. It will take millions in the streets to make a difference otherwise they will just keep being picked off. The Russians I know are scared, confused and, frankly, embarrassed. Please David, stop tarring them all.

Never could access that ...apparently.

Hearing from a colleague in Moscow there is a rumour that Russian men over 18 can't leave the country in case they need to be called up.

My wife and I didn't go back after the recent school holiday. My school is the US, British and Canadian Embassy school. All staff were told to leave Russia the day after we didn't go back. We have previous experience of the revolution in Egypt to draw upon! The school's escape plan failing flights was to drive to the Finnish border! No chance! Not on a bus full of American teachers. Anyway, we are the only school to have told teachers to leave. There's hundreds of expat teachers still in Russia as we speak. I hope they get out before martial law sets in. Shame on their schools for continuing as though nothing is happening.

I pay a lot of tax in Russia and it makes me feel sick that the money is assisting this. 😥

Pretty glad my stream is shit e to be honest.

Make some fooking subs!
-
Well that's ruined me 50th birthday. Stream went and we were winning, go on the BBC and we've lost. WTF?!

That's his natural gait. He's got knocked knees and is a bit pigeon toed.
