I think we'll go down. We are making economic decisions that make this a likely reality We have a few who are good enough. Hermansen, Justin, Perreira, Winks? Fatawu. Maybe Mavididi and Ndidi. Perhaps Alves will emerge this season. But we lack depth and nous and will have points deducted. There is a very good team of ex Leiecester players playing elsewhere It's hard to be optimistic about the current season. If we plummet, hopefully we'll have a good Championship winning team

I don't want to trigger you further but: Taylor was unfairly maligned Rodgers was our greatest ever manager and we should have hung on to him forever Amartey is world class. Why couldn't we see that? It has been good to have KDH or Barnes as likely starters in recent years. In the Skipp thread, there is a worry that he could block academy progression if he came. No academy player seems to be a certain starter. Choudhury is best placed but his limitations have been much discussed. Fellow FA Cup winner Thomas looks an unlikely starter. Stolarczyk is behind Hermansen. McAteer has had some good games but may not be Premier League level. Nelson has huge potential but there are five cbs with more experience. Alves and Braybrooke have huge potential. The volume of names is promising but none are certain starters. I am hoping one of them can emerge as a regular starter. I think with nine subs, we should have one young player (i'm not including Choudhury or Thomas in this) from the academy available from the bench every match.
