Ultimately if they don’t get it by now, they’re either incapable of getting it, or are choosing not to. You’re right - you rarely see or come across these people. The reality is depressing though - I think there’s more of them than there are of us.

I get this, but I'm completely apathetic about it now. It was worse when I cared and I just watched the club freefall from basically as soon as we got out of lockdown. This season should be a surprise to no one. We might be a few places lower than even the pessimists among us would've predicted, but ultimately - play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Top's been playing a stupid game for 5 years now and he's reaping what he has sown!

People just won't do this that's the thing. Given how divided the fanbase is, I don't think sitting in the concourse for 10 mins would help either. I think the only viable options are continuing to not go and a formal protest outside the stadium prior to kick off.

21/22 was absolutely peak Rodgers when it came to papering over the cracks. Heading into the final 4 games of the season we were 4th bottom on xP. Then along come Watford (relegated), Norwich (Relegated) & Southampton (15th) to propel Brendan into 8th. Comically lucky. Take away with 23/24 season (We came out with some utter dross that year too) and we have genuinely been a bad team to watch play since before Covid. Sickening.

This was amazing wasn’t it. They simply do not, and will not, get it.

What was the atmosphere like in the away end? I switched off when he brought on Ayew and Choudhury so don't know if there was any good old fashioned booing or not.

Pretty sure the club rejected a group passing out mental health leaflets at a game not so long ago. Highly unlikely the club would stand idly by whilst fans shared material that suggested that our fearless supreme leader(s) have anything but the full backing of the supporters.
