think they will score 2 goals, so we need to score 3 if we want to win. Delap on fire atm and is bound to score

I honestly don't know why we have bothered, this now screams of last minute striker signing to please the fans. Absolute waste of ££. To think we had all summer to sort a decent striker as well -
You missed “I have to take responsibility for this”
-
Can we actually stop scoring so cooper can be sacked please
-
Nahh f this I’m putting traffic cops on
-
At this point just put 6 past us if it means cooper gets sacked quicker

Mcateer really is a championship player at best
-
Haha. Casemiro as well… unbelievable

make sure you order the chilli paneer from broadway, one of the best dishes I have ever eaten!
-
Likewise - I have actually never been to Ghurka New Dehli - i will give it a try!
-
see they score punjabi grill (at the three crowns) in barrow upon soar exceptionally high and on par with last years winner. It is brilliant and they offer stilton and red onion / red Leicester and chilli naan breads which have to be up there with the best i have eaten. They have put prices up 10/15% or so recently so more than Broadway etc. but still a top place

I don't understand why people need a burger near 3pm on a Saturday (and pay an extortionate price for the cr*p/mediocre one at that) ... do they not have food in to eat before they leave?, does it not ruin their appetite for dinner? maybe i'm getting old and tight

It is a remanent from Victorian days when a british wife couldn't remember to go home for lunch when she holiday'd in Nice. It is in the old port. it is a massive cannon blast so can't really avoid it 🤣
-
probably not then! There is a place called Eze - really picturesque town between Nice and Monaco worth visiting. Cafe de Paris in the square in Monaco is very famous, a couple of coffee's will be cheapeast on the menu (around 14 euro's) old port area in Nice really nice with lots of cafe's etc. a cannon goes off mid-day - we absolutely shat outselves first time we heard it we thought it was a bomb, something to watch out for. Boulangerie Jeannot - bakery with really nice fresh pastries etc, Nice is very expensive (as expected) be prepared to spend 8 euros + for a bottle of beer and generally eating out as well will be ££ - we ate in Monaco in the evening before getting the train back which was an experience watching super cars. Can get train back late but as you have a little one they run quite regularly throughout the day.
-
glad you are going this time of year, we did August and train to Monaco was rammed and people panicking - was way too overcrowded. Easy to get train from the station, remember passport if you want to enter the casino in Monaco - worth it just to tick off the bucket list. Nice is lovely, vibrant area - avoid the tourist trap restaurants near the street acts, some restaurants offer lovely fresh seafood. Essential's would be the beach (obviously) - stoney beach but nice. It was quite a while a go when i went to if i think of any other "must see's" i will let you know

anyone watch the bbc panorama programme last night on this election? fascinating stuff and biggest election ever for America people are saying. Could be a lot of unrest whatever the result
-
To think they didn’t even have their best player on the pitch
-
He’s just not the one is he, get rid now. Thrashed in our own back yard and conceding THREE goals. how have we gone from 15/16 to Chris wood scoring a brace against us in 2024 and losing 3-1 to our local rivals. Pathetic
-
Nice one, didn't realise you could fly direct there! did you feel you needed 7 days, could you do it in say 5? would definitely stay in a few places whilst there to make the most of it.
-
we were going to do Montenegro when we went to Dubrovnik but thought we would say it for a separate holiday.. sounds like a great place! did you fly into Montenegro from the UK? We went to Bosnia and scenery was unreal

27:20 y'day, for 5km, knee pain now easing, Warming up for the Silverstone 10km next month, never ran a big run with lots of people since secondary school cross country days. Will take some gels for around 6/7km.. apparently you have to practice with them before hand as can upset you stomach? any recommendations?

Went to the Villa CL game mid week (through work) and they love unai Emery more than their own kids. they also have a song they sing about Martinez being the number 1 keeper in the world. He’s good, but I don’t think he’s the best in the world.

Notts Forest (H) Friday 25th October 8pm

They haven't won anything of note in about 50 years, imagine that. Feel sorry for them! We have watched us lift the PL, FA cup, being in europe when 50%+ of their fanbase haven't seen anything close to these achievements. Must be tough being so inferior to us and it really rattles them -

i am surprised it has been allowed on a Friday night, both sets of fans will have a significant proportion that will be intoxicated before the game, asking for trouble. I think the horses will be out tomorrow -

being at trent uni I got a ticket in the block next to away fans and got turfed in it shortly after riyad’s goal. Our end was phenomenal that night from view of home section
