  1. Afternoon all. As part of a group that led one of the many protests made against King Power I am posting a poll for planning reasons, how may of you are actually willing to protest, against our current ownership, at some point next month or early in March on a match day? Norwich is looking the most likely. The nature will obviously be around the fan bases disapproval on how the club is being run, specifics will be decided later This will be properly planned and organised for maximum effect, this forum will simply just part of it, and this one will take a bit more commitment than keyboard talk and staying away from games. To be very clear, anyone who does not wish to take part or who feels the current ownership is adequate to take care of this football club will not be judged. The Boycott was a start, now it's time to build. This hopefully will be discussed with Union FS, Project Rese if numbers are favorable. If we get a solid base here where I view there being a lot of support for change, we can look at ways to reach the wider fan base with a foundation that has been built on, if you do intend to do something about this in person please do vote accordingly.
  2. I dunno if you are right or not tbh. But if you are right and a simple approach is what is needed, expect them to hire someone who won the Paraguayan PL, who doesn't speak Enlgish, and has done so by employing a False 2, a Fly Half, a Goal Stike, A silly mid off, and a wide receiver in a 2-7-1 formation. The club does nothing right. End of.
  3. I'd happily see him gone tomorrow but anyone who thinks that is going to change anything drastically is very deluded. Just be another nonsensical appointment bought in who will fail like the last 3.
  4. Not sure it'd be a bad thing to be honest if it forces change at the club, may as well sleep sprint there instead of sleep walk there over 5 years when the bumbling mess that is in charge of the direction of this club has caused devastating damage. I can at least stop listening to ridiculous claims this is just the club existing where it should be then.
  5. A man of his word I'll give him that but the play was to send her home if he wanted to win, James would legit go to the final with him. Faraaz already has him in his sights, needed to reaffirm his position as a faithful. It's surely got to be obvious to them all after this next one, he's gone with her on so many setup pile ins, they have only really changed their tactic up once in term of implementing themselves with the Jess murder and Stephen timed that well and got through the next day without so much as a vote but surely he is fcked either way now as they've played the setup consistently throughout and voted accordingly. If James is a faithful Rachel surely looks guilty as sin but it's the best of the two bad situations for him, if she ends up going which implements him even more. Will be genuinely shocked if either of them win. Jade is there only hope really in terms of gaining some sort of numerical advantage as she's all over the place with her votes
  6. The group that organised the WBA boycott are organising a 14 min walk in I'd suggest you all get behind that instead of trying to organise something else. Would also suggest @MattFox you change the title.
  7. Well kind of, I'd say the club are unaware of how good any player or manager are and that's why we find ourselves in the position we are in. Like a stopped clock (or given how much we end up paying for some of these personnel, like a stopped Rolex watch) they get it right occasionally, occasionally wont cut it in professional sport. And as our options dwindle with our finances, they'll only be right less and less.
  8. Terrible, but he can't help being terrible. The real problem, as with most things at this club, is that his terrible and we have no ambition to replace him and have given him a four year deal on a decent wage. Can't blame him for taking it and he doesn't pick himself.
  9. Well....Did score at an close to acceptable rate at QPR (Circs 12 goals a season) and with the wingers we have he is the kind of striker we need, I can see the thinking behind it. But yes all in all it's a very underwhelming player to be linked with, but then I think anyone waiting for us to go and buy someone with a great goal scoring record is going to be sorely disappointed. We are just trying to sign better than we have (not difficult) not a prolific striker, as it's all we can afford. Gone Charlton apparently so never mind.
  10. Yeah I'm not spending a fortune and basically an entire weekend going down there after the last game
  11. Big six are dead mate, Man United and Spursy collective shitness has made it die a death.
  12. I'd go that. Would say Macclesfield but no chance of a ticket and don't particularly want to see us try and play on that plastic pitch, not going to end well.
  13. It's got past the point of being a sh1t footballer with Wout, I just don't like the C**t
  14. Pick your arguments better lads, this ones a non starter. Predominantly as without guaranteed PL football for a few years it's a correct decision. Also a bit of a poor one to put across while a boycott has limited an attendance to around 15k
  15. I'm not sure we have lied to be fair, not by much at least, don't we have a basline of about 23-24k ST holders? West Brom looked like they bought a lot, and bang @Bert and pals freeloading the drink and food of course. It's a standard practice to count tickets sold instead of tickets used. It makes them look stupid trying to seriously suggest they were 27k there regardless anyway
  16. Not going to sack him after a win are they, and with this administration definitely out the question, they are praying it works out because they don't want to be reaching into their pockets for the compo and giving a replacement a signing on fee as we've got no money.
  17. Oh, you've said Mason, I've read it as Marti I think the thing with Mason is people lose patience when it's nine on the spin performances stop to matter if they never yield results.
  18. I mean it sort of tells you everything when that's a stat and we play 4-3-3 which is a notoriously high movement formation for your midfield wingers full backs and lone striker We are surviving on the fact we have technically gifted players....and that will not be the case forever.
  19. You mean result? The performance was piss poor after the goal, rode the storm Jakob actually did his job and WBA allowed two of our main threats to do what they do in stoppage time. For 70 odd mins it was torrid.
  20. The levels of intelligence on Facebook make this place look like Harvard. I have actually seen people think people are staying away as a protest against Marti educate yourself before you open your mouth ffs. I think we will win tonight as WBA are a state, and I cannot wait for the "C WE DON'T NEED THE TOXIC FANS WE WON CUZ THAY WERENT THERE, NEVA COME BACK UNION FS" posts.
  21. Weird shit going on with the ticket systems at the moment (another thing not working as it should).... They sent me a reminder I was going to Sheffield United at home the night before Sheffield United away. Seems they are that desperate for revenue they are trying to get bums on seats at the King Power even if the games in Sheffield.
  22. You are being a snow flake Paul. Which as a snow flake you are probably going to be insulted by being called one but never mind. Happy Clapper is hardly an insult is it. But anyway I will try and explain why you getting insulted is stupid even if it was an offensive term. 1) The term Happy Clapper isn't a blanket description for everyone attending the game, anyone using it in such way is using it incorrectly, you can obviously take your lad to a game and during a boycott and no one is going to think any less of you on either side, in fact I think there's another bloke in here who has said he is going because of Son and we have all said totally agree with you going, it's time you can't get back, the happiness of a child is far more important than this and they shouldn't be dragged into this mess anyway. 2) It is in general terms aimed at extremely aggressive individuals who try and undermine fan unrest, try to act holier than thou and point out the club has been in a lower league position than this and we are acting spoilt, should be getting behind the lads regardless, are only x amount of points off the play offs, how dare we take action against King Power after all they've done for us, go and support Coventry you glory fans, you don't know what it was like in League one blah blah blah blah blah zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz without addressing any of the real issues like the clubs finances wage bill squad, collective administrative **** ups, FFP, and inability to appoint the right staff in the right places especially that of first team head coach/manager. They also have a tendency to throw punches and put their foot through drums, these people are clearly not at a point of being reasoned with yet, so what we call them is irrelevant, I personally have a few words stronger than Happy clapper I think they should be grateful they have such a PC label. You clearly don't fall into this category, therefore you are not a "happy clapper", so calm down. You are definitely still a snow flake though.
  23. You're aware most of the animosity coming from those looking to make a change is provoked from those wishing to back King Power who are far more condescending insulting and in some cases evidentially physically violent.
