  1. And the reality is that our imperial past has really helped our current higher standard of living. That and being an island has made us tougher to invade in more modern history.
  2. It's funny because we must sound exactly like this when moaning about commentary teams being in favour of opponents šŸ˜‚
  3. Now that was a sight for sore eyes if I do say so myself. I’m glad we got relegated because this new and improved team is truly the best thing since bloody sliced bread
  4. No word of a lie I dreamt a crazy score line too something like 6-4. watch this be a 0-0 now šŸ˜‚
  5. Usually preceded by a pissed off look that they then have to lessen the severity of by the little thumbs up
  6. I would expect something similar if this current team and manager we have were to play against that BR team. There's a big difference when you have some fight in you.
  7. Pretty standard practise nowadays although I wish it wasn’t. I’d like to see yellow cards issued for it.

To be honest I’m unsure why Ukraine have chosen to get so annoyed over the grain thing. Possibly they are losing money over Poland banning the sale of Ukrainian grain however threatening to sue Poland over it seems to me the definition of biting the hand that feeds you (weapon supplies etc).
  9. Always hear this about ā€œworking from home makes me more productiveā€ but I’d always suspected it wouldn’t be the case. I’ve got friends that work from home and they take massive lunch breaks. Another mate does building work on his house during his work hours and on those days only attends meetings whilst pretending to work the rest of the time. Used to work with a guy who lived in Scotland and was in the office one day a week, you could never ever get him on the phone when you needed his input. Maybe for some people they are more productive however (a 2 hour commute is hardly going to inspire you to work harder).

So, do you think the invasion was a just and correct thing to do? Just come out and say it don’t dance around the point. Also, bucha massacre proof it happened: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/60981238 https://www.dw.com/en/fact-check-atrocities-in-bucha-not-staged/a-61366129 https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2022/05/ukraine-russian-forces-must-face-justice-for-war-crimes-in-kyiv-oblast--new-investigation/ https://www.france24.com/en/tv-shows/truth-or-fake/20220404-debunking-russian-claims-that-bucha-killings-are-staged

You’re entitled to your opinion and even to claim Ukraine bombed itself but everyone else who uses foxestalk also are entitled to disagree. In fact that should be expected on your part considering most people in the country generally support Ukraine.

In my experience with Russian apologists, this either means terrible low quality websites that can’t be trusted as far as you can throw them or Twitter threads about someone revealing the ā€œtruthā€, again on Twitter, with little to no credible sources. Also sometimes a state news channel that is clearly aligned with Russia, the one thing that they claim to be avoiding (non neutrality). The only thing that really matters and is fact: Russia attacked Ukraine, made a massive arse of themselves and now they’re fighting an unnecessary war that will drain their ability to fight and prosper for the next decade if not more.

Musk is a p*ssy Either that or one of those weird extremists who is somehow on Russia’s side through some strange political 3d chess. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-66752264.amp

Said the same thing when we sent ours as you mentioned. I think it’s a red line they won’t cross, at least for now. If they start to lose big then possibly.

North Korea’s economy is already solely focussed on war is it not? Probs have some stockpiles but it’s hardly a huge concern in the short term
  16. Relegation has helped us to get some players in with something to prove and also use the academy lads over using journeymen on stupid wages.
  17. This link looks to be a damp squib.
  18. Not sure I’m happy with that, unless it’s with a minimum amount say 15+ appearances. If he gets injured all season surely we don’t have to buy him…
  19. Does anyone ever exercise their right to buy fees? Seems like that trick you could do in old fifas getting messi with the option to buy for 1,000,000,000 then never doing it.
  20. Depends. At work - to save time it’s one of those thermos metal sort cups, tea bag, milk, water (as I have limited time so putting the milk in first allows me to grab it and go once the kettle boils) , let sit for until I remember to take the bag out and then slowly drink over 1-2 hours whilst it still remains a good temp. At home - the biggest cup I can find, tea bag, water, milk. earl grey when I remember to buy, otherwise any brand of tea, not too fussed.
  21. Yeah agreed. I thought they stopped doing it years ago.
  22. I think that was his problem. If he hasn’t celebrated he could have passed it off as not making contact, then again for the linesman to agree on the handball you’d like to think he did see it.
  23. I think people have the right to boo just as they have a right to clap if they want, it’s a bit of an ineffective gesture at this point
