He’s a smart guy and I think he’s adaptable enough. We had a few “overpaid” players before his second stint (not to the same extent as now), the likes of mills and beckford and iirc he managed to get the squad leaner again.

Agree with the sentiment on here. If a government here even looks like they’d act how Trump does to 1% of the same degree, they’ll never get my vote. We need to fight against reform with everything we have. I don’t even rate some of green’s policies but they’d get my vote over the reform conmen.

As someone said the other day, we may just need to adjust our expectations massively. we may have spent 200m on this squad and pay them like mid table prem players, but their real worth is that of a mid end championship team. Might make it not so bad emotionally.

I honestly think the government from the movie idiocracy could do better than this trump regime. That proposed peace plan looked like they have a blank piece of paper to Russia (and it seems like it may have been the case) only for Trumps own administration to believe and accept it. “art of the deal” becomes more hilarious by the day.
