For too long the upper management have let players and managers walk all over us. Here is what I would implement to combat some of the issues and get back on a good financial standing. Please note all these changes link into each other and support the functioning of each point. 1. Have a hard wage cap of say 45k with a bonus scheme for performance metrics. You want more money, prove you deserve it. 2. When scouting for players in each position, have a shortlist of 15 minimum players ranked by how much we want to sign them from #1 to #15 or more. If one is asking too much or taking too long, simply move onto the next candidate. Even if they are slightly worse in some metric. We should be setting the rules on players coming, not the other way around. We don’t want to be in the position where we are begging anyone to come here with huge bags of cash. 3. If the club wants to retain a player, they will be asked to sign a new contract when their contract reaches under 2 years left. If they refuse, they will be placed on the transfer list and become 2nd option to their counterpart, whether that’s another player or an academy graduate. We need to let them know that their game time and career will suffer by running out their contract. Yes the hardline approach may put off some players, but if we’re in the EPL that’s a big enough of a pull. There’s plenty of players good enough that would come still. 4. If anyone comes in for our manager, we let them pay us off and take him. We should have a constantly updated list of replacements that play in a way defined as the target style by the club. All transfers will be in this style and the academy will adopt this style all the way down to the very youth. 5. Stick to our guns, if we only wanted to give vestegaard a 2 year deal for example, we should have offered it to him and then walk away with a solid deadline for his decision that gives us time to go to a second option. 6. We have a set budget that is calculated by financially savvy management that makes it impossible to fail PSR, even if we can’t offload players. Managers are made aware of this budget before signing and are told the complete truth about it. There may be things here that would be difficult to pull off in the realities of the footballing world, but we need to have an actual plan at least and not a scattergun, reactive approach.

To be fair it’s only a DHgate job from just before the appointment, but of a jokey one anyway. -

It’s back down for me again 🤣 Are they taking the piss “straight back down Leicester city”
-
Realistically if we can spend a few years getting the shite off the wage bill, and lowering what you spend for psr, we should be in a better position to come back up without points deduction worries and panic signings of crap players
-
Honestly it doesn’t bother me, you’re allowed to smile even in shit times. We all know how badly they have failed in their stewardship, we don’t need to nitpick.

It’s back up now

He finished the first guide and had to write a volume 2 🤣

I remember going to one of these when I was 12 and asking the Yak if he was gonna get fed in his next game 😂

Apparently he hasn’t really inherited $67 billion US dollar from a Nigerian prince. Who would have knew?

Have a few that way . They are really not bad at all. But want this one legit.

People say about entitlement, and I’m extremely grateful for all we’ve won, but we can see better than anyone else the direction of this team for the longest time. I think they should have never started to think they were a “big club”. We seem to do best when we are buying gems and sticking a finger up to the elite. I’m not saying spend 750k on a player whilst competing for top half EPL, but instead of spaffing 25m on skipp types, we should be spending 5-10m on a player nobody else has thought of. This players have something to prove big time. Probably unpopular opinion but I’d rather win the EFL cup with homegrown or gems than spend billions, cheat and bribe with 110 charges and win the champions league. It’s like playing fifa on amateur mode. You can win everything but is it really fulfilling?

I thought it had been even longer! Been quietly wanting the ice blue third kit but only if they reduce to around £25.
-
Little review if you’re deciding whether to bother. They didn’t have any current season kits. Some cheaper training wear about £13 for a training top but mostly last season and even further back FBS branded stuff. If you have kids 10-12 ish lots of options. A few mini kits for kids 2-3 and 3-4 but was selling quite fast at £15. Some training hoodies and coats for about half price of what they would have been, discounted rate about £25. Coats £30-40. Loads of winter stuff, scarves and hats I think about £10-15. No mega bargains to be had all in all.

If Southampton can beat West Ham, we can’t sack Ruud on better terms, meaning they have more time to be the only relegated team looking for a manager for next year. 4d chess.

Points deductions and sanctions aside, any style of play should see us comfortably there or there abouts for promotion.

Surely this record will stand until humanity inevitably nukes itself? It’s taken 130 odd years to be created
