Dave Challinor is widely regarded as one of the ultimate "promotion masters" in the lower tiers of English football. Across a 16-year managerial career, his teams have finished in a playoff spot or higher in 15 different seasons. Give me this guy over Russel "big name" Martin every day of the week. Challinor will be the guy for the proper rebuild.

I hope we get a whole new starting 11. I'll find it so refreshing to never have to see them again. I like Nelson of course being home grown etc but get some money for him, we'll need it.

I bet they deal with 10 incidents like this every day where someone claims to not be able to breathe when getting arrested etc. It's negligence of duty but I don't see how it could be intentional or discrimination against a white guy.

We said it last summer (and it was true. We went down) but this is once again the start of what will be the most important managerial appointment and transfer window at the club since 2008/2009. Cliche but we need a Pearson esque type including backroom staff. Hell I'd even take Pearson over 90% of the linked names. First step is getting the fan base on board. Get someone in we can get behind. Yes we will back whoever comes in, but you'll get more grace period from the fans with a Dave Challinor rather than a Russel Martin. Get the manager in within 2 weeks and do not start signing players until he comes in. Get one with a ready to go backroom staff, or at least one he picks shortly after coming in. Sign some hungry players. As per @spacemunkys recent posts. They've done some decent business already for this league and on frees at that! We will get left behind if we wait too long.
