You can’t have a main man who can’t play regularly and has to miss the majority of the training week. The reason we lack cohesion is because Vardy trains about a day a week at this point, stick Tom Cannon in this side and give him the opportunity to score goals. Vardy had chances today, we create opportunities to score. Selling Cannon is illogical at this point in the season, give him the opportunity to score goals for us and if he can’t do it and we go down we won’t be able to buy a new striker in the summer, but we know he can score goals at that level. If he can do it and we stay up we either see enough in him to give him the nod next season or we sell him on for even more profit come the summer off the back of a good season where he’s shown promise at both Stoke and half a season in the Prem.

He’s been off his usual high standards before but never as bad as he was tonight. If we are honest he’s not been good enough to start for a Premier League side for a good while. The man is 38, he’s a pensioner in the football world, if you ever listen to someone like Gary Neville talk about not having it anymore, he said it just happens and you are done. Vardy is a shell of what he was before, we need someone to come in and pick up the weight he’s had to carry as our best ever player in the modern game.

There is definitely players who want gone, what is Faes doing play football for us when there is an agent driven media campaign to get him gone? You’re right Ric, we need rid of a good number of these players and we need a fresh approach. Hermansen Coulibaly Coady Nelson JJ Winks Soumare Buonanotte Bilal Alves Cannon -

Honestly lads, lasses and all in between. We are ****ed, we’re going down and it’s not gonna be pretty. This team isn’t good enough, the clubs been mismanaged for a long time now and it’s finally caught up with us. It would take a miracle. -

We’ve consistently bought players with a scattergun approach and when you buy badly over a prolonged period of time it catches up with you as a club. Tete Ghezzal Souttar Faes Bertand Praet Soumare BDCR Ayew Edouard Skipp Can’t be arsed to carry on but recruitment is everything in football and unfortunately for the past 5 years our incomings have on the whole been shocking. -
Still think Barnesy would suit playing as a striker, he’s clinical in front of goal and playing off the back 4 running in behind is set up for him. The heir to the crown of Vardy? We can dream 🤣

The problem with our club having no defined identity is that you go from having a manager like Maresca who wanted to sign players of promise and utilise internal youth players that he could mould to his style of football to then hiring a shitbag like Steve Cooper who wants “premier league proven experience” and you end up with players like BDCR and Ayew preventing a pathway for a home grown 19 year old talent. Until we build a footballing identity where it doesn’t matter who the manager is we stick to our core principles, young lads such as Nyoni and Monga will keep jumping ship.

You didn’t have Pearson saying publicly, please don’t leave to Hamza because that was agent bollocks to get a new deal. Monga could literally go anywhere to sign his first professional deal. -

If you’re good enough you’re old enough. I’ve spoken to people in and around the club and they say we’ve never seen a player this good at his age in our academy, you don’t have the first team manager say what he said in a first team press conference for nothing, we either use him or lose him. Simple as that really. -

You might be right but at 15 he’s already better than Kasey McAteer. You don’t have every club in European football wishing they could have the lad unless he’s mustard. -
Can’t wait to see BDCR playing tomorrow…

The success of your club is based on how well you recruit. We’ve had multiple transfer windows and contract renewal with shoddy decision making and it’s finally catching up with us.

We’ve been in games far more than we were under Cooper, aside from Wolves it’s not been as bad as it was consistently under the Forest lover. The problem is our recruitment has been shit for the last few windows and it’s finally catching up with us. We need a new RB, a ST with presence who can hold the ball up and another winger due to Fatawu’s ACL injury. Then we might have a chance of staying up. -

Please sign a RB this week. -
The anatomical structure of his legs is baffling tbh, he’s basically bow-legged, surprised he passed a medical with Chelsea tbh after the severity of his injury against Villarreal.
-
I’d start Alves over Mavididi tbh. Mav’s winding me up at the minute, he’s a proper flat track bully in that put him a far superior team like last season and he’s raring to go, this season he doesn’t seem to have the attitude for a relegation scrap. Let the Leicester boy Alves get in there against a midlands rival and see what he can do.

It’s probably the best blend of attributes needed on the pitch to have a chance of results in games.

That’s exactly why he shouldn’t have gone on loan. He’s built to play Premier League football, the protection from referee’s in this league nullifies physicality. I was on record saying we should have treated him like Phil Foden and he would eventually get his chance to shine, if Cartwright plays this weekend he has the opportunity to put himself ahead of Sammy here despite being an inferior player up to this point. -

Sammy should never have been loaned out this season but unfortunately for us we had a manager so far out of his depth it was unreal and he ostracised the young lads in pre-season. A full season of being in and around the first team squad was there for him, disappointing to say the least. -
I’ve said it before but the only thing that stops this lad from being the best midfielder on the pitch is himself. When he’s on it like tonight he’s ****ing incredible.
-
Symphony rooms closed tonight then?
-
Same as Enzo last season. Hamza moves into midfield to play next to Skipp and Soumare pushes on to play higher with the number 10 and the 2 wingers high and wide.
-
I’ve heard that’s the actual team for tonight
